I awake to the knocking of my door. I check my phone, it's fucking 4:30 in the morning. Who the hell would be here this early? Another knock, louder this time. "I'm coming! Just hold on a minuet please!" I roll out of bed, slip on some cozy bunny slippers and slowly make my way to the door. As I swing the door open, memories from last night come flooding at a rapid pace. "Bryce?"

"Yeah, uhm, I was supposed to come today in the morning to pick up my stuff?" he says, looking rather uncomfortable.

"Bryce, it's 4:30 in the morning! Who the hell is up this early?"

"Sorry, I just don't exactly know what time you wake up at.."

"Well I sure don't wake up at four in the god damned morning." I reach for his bag, right beside the door. Lucky I packed it last night. "Here."

"Uhh thanks, I guess.." he mutters.

I close the door as we say goodbye. Boy am I happy that fuckers finally gone. I crawl back into bed, hoping to get my last few hours of sleep in. As I drift off, I dream of the most peculiar things. Almost as if I was Alice, but in my own perfect little wonderland.

"fuck.." I mutter, as I roll over, turning off my alarm. I check my phone, 7 missed calls from my mom? I dial her number, running endless possibilities through my mind on what possibly could have gone wrong.

"Hello, Ellie?"

"Hi mom!"

"I'm afraid I have some bad news for you babygirl.."

"What's going on..." Oh no.

"Baby it's your Father, last night he was driving home from work, and he had a heart attack, and he crashed."
