Untitled Part 2

CHAPTER 2

Next day I woke up earlier since I went sleep last night sooner than other days.

It´s Friday and that means I have to go to work again. I have to walk 15 minutes to get there so I have more than 2 hours before I start working.

I went to the kitchen with hope that I will find something good to eat. And with that I mean some healthy food. Yes.. I said that… I don’t hate only parties but also healthy food. Why? Because it tastes bad and I don’t really belive that healthy food can help me feel better or healthier. But like every good girl I promised Mia that I will try and eat it so here I am, in front of my fridge, trying to find something.

I didn’t really find anything in there so I ate an apple and go to the bathroom. I get in the shower and brushed my teeth.

When I dressed myself I was ready to go to work so I looked on clock and notice how quickly time passed by. I was almost late for work, so I grabbed my keys and closed the door.

I even felt like it was my lucky day today, until I slipped on my way to the stairs. It didn’t hurt much so I quickly stood up and looked around if anybody saw me. Although, this wasn’t a good idea, because when I moved to the right, I hit fence of the stairs and in that moment, I lost my purse.

Since I was late, I didn’t have time to check if the purse was closed, so now, I could tell you the answer. I was looking down the stairs in my falling purse, when all of my belongings, which had to be in my purse, flew everywhere down the stairs. Hey!  Why me? What did I do?

So I went down and pick up all of them and gave it back in my purse. This time I check and made sure that I close it.

When I came outside and walk down the street, I almost though that this bad luck thing is over, but then it started to rain. Why is that so bad? Because I didn’t have umbrella and I was already late.

I came to work 10 minutes to late and so wet that the water poured of me.

˝ Emma! What are you doing? Look! Water is everywhere around you! ˝

˝I´m sorry, Mrs. Bailey... It´s one of my bad days today.. ˝

¨Oh, dear… what happened? ˝

˝It´s nothing. I will be OK and survive this.˝

˝I know you will, Emma… I just wish that those things wouldn’t happening to you.˝

˝Thank you, but that´s tradition in my life now… I will just go back and change before the water will be everywhere.˝

When I came back, Mrs. Bailey was talking with some client, so I didn’t want to bother her, what I have to do today. I just went outside and make sure that all roses are in the water or that there isn’t any withered.

I work here in florist's for almost 3 years now. Mrs. Bailey was a good friend of my mother so when I needed a job, she offered it to me. I am so happy to have her around me. She helps and understands me, especially when I have those bad days or moments like this morning.

I was thinking about morning events and what could I do to stop this, when I hear someone behind me: ˝Excuse me… can ask you something? Can you help me find a special rose for my husband? I don’t want some ordinary… you know, he loves every rose he gets, but today is his birthday so I want to give him something special.˝

I smiled to old lady standing in front of me: ˝ Of course… I will just show you some not ordinary roses, so you could choose which one is the best. ˝

We looked around the shop for few more minutes, before she chose which one she will take.

˝ Thank you, my dear… You helped me a lot. Here… take this and your whole life will change.˝ She gave me something in my hand, so I looked down. When I saw a bracelet, I looked up and wanted to thank her, but there was nobody in front of me anymore. That seemed strange to me, but Mrs. Bailey called my name, so I give the bracelet on my left arm and go to her.

When it was time to go home again I was surprised that all of my clothes were dry. They were so wet, that they couldn’t dry so fast or what? I took them and go change again. I said Mrs. Bailey goodbye and went home.

When I came home I couldn’t believe how fast I was. I have never been so early before, but I stopped thinking about that, because I feel my stomach to turn around so hungry I was.

So I ate something and went on the sofa. I turned TV on and relaxed. I didn’t even remember when it was the last time, for me, to sit on the sofa and watch some movies. After that I called Mia and lay on my bed.

Then I remembered the old women again and the bracelet on my left arm. How strange, isn’t it?

I was thinking about that for few minutes, before I was asleep.
