Fix it

Dean drives down an old town road in his prized car. Sam sits next to him, their hair both sparkling with grey. Carry on my wayward son blasts on the car radio as the two brothers sing a long.
Dean pulls into Bobby's drive way to see his father like figure drinking a beer. He leaves his car with Sam and they have a beer with Bobby. "Hey ya idjits been likin heaven"
"It's been great, really I mean... was Jack and Cas did is... it's really nice" Sam says. Dean glances down at his bottle. Heaven is great but something is missing. Everything is perfect yet there is a hole. He knows what it is, but he won't admit it.

Cas sits in a park bench. Tell oak trees dance in the wind above him, bees buzz ahead of him in the field as humans play with their dogs. He has been on earth far away, invisible and existing in the shadows.
Earth has changed a lot since Sam and Dean passed. New inventions, discoveries, and new humans. The earth itself has changed. Wether it was for good or not, that's not for him to decide. Yet the humans seem happy.
He feels a presence next to him and turns to see the all to familiar face of his son. Jack has been different since he defected Chuck but he is still Jack. "I'm surprised your here, you know you can go up in heaven with dean?" Jack asks. Castiel doesn't respond. He looks to Jack as he remembers the confession he made to Dean. Ill feeling rise in side him like a defenseless mouse.
Jack looks to him, knowing the pain Castiel is feeling. "It'll be okay" he says, vanishing before Castiel can respond.
Castiel leaves the bench and takes a walk around the park. Lost in thought he bumps into a young man who was jogging. "Sorry" Castiel says.
"It's okay" the tall blonde pauses, reading Castiel as if he was a book in a library. The man offers him a smile and his name, "I'm Steven" he says.
"Cas"
"Well Cas, you look like you need a beer"
For the next hour Steven and him had some beer. The two mostly had small talk. Castiel ponders at the man. He mostly stayed unnoticed and a ghost by humans. He blended in like bee in a yellow flower.
"Who is she?" The man asks.
"Oh um-"
"He? Heh, I know that look from anywhere, my friend and biggest crush moved states away, I lost contact with him" he speaks up. Castiel stares at the yellow alcoholic beverage. Memories service, bringing pain to heart.
Steven orders them some shots as the bartender comes over.
They stay silent for a while before Steven speaks agains, "tell me about him"
Castiel looks to him, letting out a breath. "Tell me about yours first"
Steven chuckles taking a shot, "well, for starters we were complete opposites. He was extremely artistic, best painter I know. His pictures captured emotions I never knew I had... I could never do that. Oh man his laugh, to hear that again... but he moved before I could tell him I love him. He made me realize what I felt and I didn't get the chance to express it. We lost contact, he must of changed phone numbers or something but I miss him, we actually met right here, where we are sitting" Castiel looks around the small bar. Definitely a local place. He gets odd looks from the patrons. Everyone acts like they know each other.
"I confessed and he didn't say anything" Castiel says taking a shot. He looks up from the empty glass and takes a breath of air. "He was... unique, he acted tough like his dads blunt tool but he was soft and the kindest human— person I knew" castiel takes another shot, still not feeling anything but it somehow helps.
"I'm sorry man... where is he now? I'll go talk some sense into him for you" Castiel chuckles softly. He orders a water for them both before Steven got drunk.
"Do you miss him?" Castiel looks to Steven seeing a passion spark in is eyes. Steven nods softly. Castiel grabs steven's hand. The humans eye widened with confusion, that is before they appeared inside an art show.
"How did you— Keeden?" Steven says. He turns to Castiel for a second. "Thank you, I want tell anyone" he runs over to Keeden. Behind Keeden were expressive paintings of darkness in nature, but there was always a splash of neon somewhere in the painting. Keeden dresses feminine but is built as if he could fight a bear. A small rainbow pin is on his Jean jacket. A bright reminder of who Castiel is.
"I- how did you find me"
"That doesn't matter, I love you Keeden" Steven says. His voice loud and passionate. Keeden hugs Steven and brings him into a tight kiss.
"I'm so sorry we lost touch, I lost my phone and-" Keeden goes on before Steven kisses him again.
Castiel leaves the art show. His mind rushing in on him. Feeling pour in, filling him with dread and heartbreak.
"Go see him" Cas turns to see Steven, Keeden not far behind him. Cas nods and waves goodbye as the couple gives their thanks.
Castiel watches the brothers, sitting and drinking with Bobby. He sees them happy without them. Joking and laughing. They don't need him.
"Cas?" Dean says from the porch. The older Winchester rushes off the porch. That hole becoming more clear. The angel hesitantly looks up at Dean as he steps closer to him.
"I'm sorry..." Dean says immediately, Sam and Bobby watch from the porch. Castiel looks at Dean in confusion.
"For what-"
"Cas I need to tell you something..." Castiel's heart beats faster. Fear of being rejected. Dean steps closer to him, his breaths heavy and uneven.
"I need you cas— I... I..." Dean looks to his ankles. Emotions thundering in his eyes as he gets the courage to say those three simple words. So simple yet the hardest thing he has done.
"I love you"
