"the name is hikaru" she responded with head low
"hikaru... kanda?" "oh-! the ace of gracefield?"
conversations started around the arena until the man said that they must start training once again.
"hikaru" the holy emperor called, she turned around to see the dark blue haired boy from before is with him. 'tsurugi kyousuke...'
he smiled with eyes close, "i would like you two to train with each other. i hope that's fine?" she nodded but the boy didn't answer
"then, i'll leave you too now. tsurugi-kun please treat hikaru well..." with that he bid his farewell
"a-ano... tsurugi-kun isn't it?" she tried starting a conversation but he didn't paid attention to her which made hikaru's mouth formed a line, she sighed
he then started dribbling with the ball he was playing with earlier and so she did. they practiced dribbling, stealing until they got exhausted.
'tsurugi-kun sure is exhausted... i want to give him a drink but will he turn me down?'
gathering all her strength and swallowing her pride she managed to speak... or so she thought.
"tsuru-" she was stopped when a ball came flying into her face which she managed to stop
she looked at the white-haired kid in front of her, "was that you?". he stared at her intensely before responding with a 'yeah' and walk away getting the ball from her. her lips formed a line once again with eyebrows furrowed.
