A day or two had passed. (Y/N) wasn't sure. She was laying in bed, wasting the day away as she stares at her painting from class. (Y/N) would probably be in her Anger Management Class right about now, but she stopped attending class, she didn't really care though because the group, her classmates, her friends, did not come back. It should have only taken them about half a day, back and forth from the mountain. But then again, did they know their way to get to the mountain?

Something else was happening in the village while her friends were gone, the pigs were up to no good. (Y/N) could feel it in her hollow bones. They were setting up some sort of free dance party for all the birds. The pigs were also making more of a ruckus as if they weren't already loud enough. They rode on loud vehicles that shook the ground and the houses. Even (Y/N)'s little home, even though she lived far away from the village and up in the trees.

(Y/N) was really worried about her friends. Especially, Red. She hated the fact that they said such ugly things to each other, even though they may have gotten into a fight, Red, Chuck, and Bomb were the closest friends that she ever had. They actually talked to her and included her. She felt like an actual bird and not some trash, left on the side.

She felt like she needed to get out and leave her home anyway. All (Y/N) did was sit in her house all day, without leaving, just waiting for her friends to come back. As well as trying to avoid interacting with the pigs. Especially Leonard. (Y/N) thought for a while and finally decided that it might be time for her to meet Mighty Eagle.

He could have changed over the years. Maybe Red was right. He is Mighty Eagle. The Mighty Eagle.

(Y/N) sighed as she took a glance at her painting once more and muttered to herself, "Alright, let's do this."

(Y/N) headed toward the village, she needed to get to the other side of the village to take the right path toward the mountain, but before she entered the jungle, of course, Leonard stood in front of her and stopped her.

"(Y/N)! How are you, my dear? Where are you going?" he asked as he smiled.

She let out a groan and glanced away from him. "I'm just going for a hike."

He seems to nod in understanding. "Ah, I see! By the way, have you seen that red bird and his friends?" he questions her.

(Y/N) crinkled her eyebrows in puzzlement. "Why? I thought you hated him."

He shook his head like he was taken aback. "Oh no, no, no, I don't hate him! We just...don't see eye to eye. That's all."

"Uh huh." (Y/N) nodded slowly. She then gave him a shrug. "I have no idea. I haven't seen him so..."

Leonard hummed and gave (Y/N) a smile. Almost like a sly smile. "Alright, thank you, my..." Leonard mumbled something under his breath.

(Y/N) tilted her head to the side. "What was that?"

"I said thank you, my dear," he replied with a soft smile.

"Okay?" (Y/N) said slowly. "Why do you call me 'dear' anyways?" she asked curiously.

"Oh! Well, I...I call all the females that," Leonard replied as he chuckled.

(Y/N) nodded slowly. "Alright, I see. Well, I best get going with my hike," she said as she pointed at the jungle behind her with her thumb.

"Of course! I hope to catch you soon!" Leonard grinned and walked off.

"Huh. What a weird guy," (Y/N) murmurs to herself.

(Y/N) finally made it after trekking through the jungle. Her childhood home. Everything still looked the same and she saw the same old Mighty Eagle standing there. With his dull white and brown feathers and his large messy eyebrows. He looked nothing like his statue, in fact, he had more of a belly rather than a protruding chest. The eagle seemed to be looking down, talking to someone.
