I wouldn't immediately place this story under the genre of romance, cause that's not the first thing it is to me. Beyond The Wall is a story of healing from trauma, finding a safe place in the world; finding someone you can lean on.
Finding someone who will hear you and listen, even when you speak in the smallest of voices because what you have to say is important. Because you are important.
Abuse is unfortunately the very harsh reality that so many face today, and oftentimes alone. In silence. Our MC, Simone has faced both physical and verbal/emotional abuse.

*Abuse is intolerable. The degree does not matter. Only the person who has gone through it understands the feelings/emotions. Irrespective of gender. No one else should judge them.
People who face abuse can cope up with their pain and memories, with support from loved ones / professional help. They can succeed in living happily and in peace. Some work is required for this, but it is possible.
The abused are not alone. There are support groups to help them cope up. There are many Wattpad groups dedicated to this cause. One such awesome Wattpad group is @SayNoToAbuse.
They offer support maintaining privacy and without judging, which is the need of the hour today.*
