Chapter 1 Part 4: Movie Night (Part 2\2)

I was currently setting up everything for Movie Night. I had to make sure everything was perfect for tonight. I had set up the typical things like the chairs and screen and such, and even used the rarely used second floor of the storage room for the projector. I would set up specific seating arrangements for each one of us, that was all my job. Shoko had set up the group chat to invite everyone and to convince them all to come, though the exception might be for both Isamu and Miharu. 

'By the looks of the group chat, Miharu looks like she will be coming, though Isamu may or may not come. If either of them were in a good way, I could definitely ask them for help. Maybe this is what this group is planning, taking out the strong and protective members of the group so one of them could kill someone. Well too bad for them, but I will make this plan succeed! Further, Felix was to gather some walkie talkies that we were to use discreetly. Finally, Kyouma job would be to mostly help identify who could be one of the traitors.'

I set up everything rather quickly and Felix came soon enough as did Shoko soon after.

"So how is going? Did you get everything set up?" Shoko asks.

"Yeah, did you get the walkie talkies Felix?" I ask him.

"Yup, got one for all of us!" He exclaims as he shows four walkie talkies and gives one to me and Shoko.

"So how do these things work?" Shoko asks.

To her question, I begin to tune the frequency a bit so that they all work now.

"I had to use some of these while I was out in the field, so I know how to use them quite well" I explain as I talk through the walkie talkie to make sure it worked, which it did.

"Heh, neat!" Felix says.

"S..So we are really going through with this?" Shoko asks as she seems real nervous still.

"You still nervous about this?" I ask her, to which she nodded.

"Well if we don't someone has a better chance to be killed." I say bluntly.

"Not to mention that one of these people could be caught" In came Kyouma as he says as well.

He then takes the last walkie talkie as he enters the room.

"So what now boss?" Kyouma says a bit sarcastically to me, I roll my eyes at him though.

"Now we just have to wait for everyone else to come, then we have to check in often, discreetly. If anyone makes any discerning or unusual movements, we need to inform the others. This has to be quick and efficient if we are to identify one or more members of this traitor group." I explain to them.

"If we do manage to catch them, interrogating that person will be very beneficial to finding out the other members and even what this groups ultimate goal is." Kyouma states after I finish explaining.

Then after that little discussion, some time passes as everyone else arrives in turn, except for Isamu.

"Isamu not able to make it?" Shoko asks.

"I told him to lay off for the day at least, the injury was really bad." Misako says to why Isamu isn't coming.

"Hehe, well we can start without him." Ryogi says as I then show everyone a seating arrangement.

"Huh? Why did you make one?" Aiko asks.

"Well I just thought...you know I'm not sure why, just thought it would feel more...classy I suppose?" I say feigning the real intentions.

"Well whatever, as long as there is a horror movie on, I don't mind where I sit" Mazoku says smiling as he sits where the arrangement told him to be.

The rest didn't really have a reason to disagree with this, but I did sense of discomfort.

'Guess they are still worried about the traitors, that is no surprise though. They don't have to worry about it though for much longer, once we catch one of them, we can make them spill everything.'

So soon, everyone got in their seats as I set up the first movie, a horror one and I sat next to Shoko, while Felix sat next to Kyouma. The first movie went on as me and the other four stood on our guards, the more it went on, the more I could tell that Shoko was scared as she was shaking and soon the first movie came to a close.

"Shoko....don't worry so much, nothing bad is gonna happen." I say quietly to her as their was no talking on the walkie talkies yet, so no one had made any movements.

I go to set up the next movie, that one was still an uneventful one and once that ended, I started to get up when Kenji spoke up and got up.

"Hey, let's put on a romance one next" HE asks as he smirks and winks at me.

"You gonna flirt with one of the girls while it is on?" I ask, glaring a bit at him.

"Hey, just making a request...sweetie~" He winks again at me.

'Oh my gosh, he is so annoying, but what the hell, one shouldn't be a problem.'

I then put a romance movie on as I hang back with Shoko again. I soon notice she was acting a bit weird this time.

"Hey, you okay?" I ask her concerned a bit.

"Y..yeah, just the stress of this is wearing me out and I am just a bit tired." Her voice was getting lower.

"Well, nothing has happened yet so you can rest for a while." I was beginning to think that nothing would happen.

'Looks like this was all for nothing, traitor isn't gonna kill anyone this close, it would be too risky. Guess I will have to figure out another way to expose one of these members.'

I say as another movie after this later, some more people yawned and looked like they were getting sleepy.

"Ok! I think that is enough for today!" I exclaim as the credits roll on the fifth movie.

"Well that was fun, I'm tired though." Ryogi says as she yawned.

I then have Felix and Aiko help me out with taking chairs back as I take apart the projector. After a few minutes, I take the projector out and head downstairs and see that nearly everyone else had left as I sigh at the failure of capturing the traitor. I then see that Shoko is the only one still in the chair as she was still sleeping as Aiko tries to wake her up.

"Hey Shoko, come on and get up, you can sleep in your bed." Aiko says softly to her as she shakes her, but Shoko doesn't respond.

"Guess she is just really sleepy, hey Felix!" I shout out at him as he comes by to Shoko as then we hear some dings as the monitor of Monokuma comes on.

"A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time, which you may use however you please, the class trial will begin!" Monokuma states out as the monitor comes off.

"A body?! W..When the heck did that happen?!" Felix shouts out in surprise.

'Yeah! When did that....oh...oh no!'

I then get a bad feeling as I then see that he hand was covering her midriff and take her hand away to reveal......

Shoko had a knife wound on her abdomen, a deep one at that! The Ultimate Fujoshi, was now dead! The plan to save everyone by catching the traitor has failed and now we had a victim.....the Killing Game has truly begun now!
