Danganronpa- Abandon All Hope

Prologue: Part 1

This story take place from the protagonist, Himari Aikawa's POV:

'Hope's Peak Academy, a prestigious school that housed some of the most hopeful students, named ultimates, in the world. Students of varying excellence, whether it is academic related or something else that they exceed in better than anyone else, they would transfer here and would study here with many other ultimates. Graduating from this academy basically solidifying yourself as becoming a huge success in the world. Now here I was, at the doorsteps of the said academy, taking in the reality that I really was here. I was gonna meet my class and have so much fun for these three years!' I was an ultimate as well, the ultimate Anchorwoman. I would check up on tabs about all the other ultimates that I could be meeting and was so ecstatic to get to meet all of them.

I then go inside the front entrance and look over to my acceptance letter that showed off the location for the classroom and went inside, there was no one else there. I wasn't that early and thought something might be off, but then I started to feel really dizzy. I stubble around and grab on one of the chairs before passing out.

Some time passes

Some time later, I wake up a feel a certain comfortness as I looked around and saw that I was laying on a bed now. 'Was I dragged here after I was unconscious?' I thought but had no real indication of what exactly happened. It was so weird, why did I feel so dizzy and why did that happen when I got into the classroom? I worried that I had been kidnapped but stopped myself from thinking that, maybe it was just a really bad prank that the staff held.

Before I could think if this any longer, I decided that going out and investigating would be the better solution right now than just mindlessly guessing what happened. So I went out and saw that there was about 15 other rooms just like mine was. I go across the hall to see if I could find anyone else....but as I walked along, I couldn't help but feel like someone else was watching me and I turn around and there was no one there. 'Ok I must be just a bit stressed, maybe there is someplace I can get something to drink or eat.'

I then look around for a moment and find a cafeteria and there were two people there as well who were eating. One had blue hair and darkish green eyes, along with a hoodie that matched his eye and hair color. I recognized him as Akira Sugimoto, the Ultimate Translator. The other one was a girl with glasses, long light brown, and light green eyes. I recognized her as Jun Wu Wang, the Ultimate Foreigner. I read a post about how well the two of them got along and hanged out a bunch and even started to date, it even showed cause they seemed so affectionate. I went to where the food could be kept as I didn't want to talk to them right at that moment, so I went over to get some food and found quite a lot of it. Microwave, freezer, oven, and all kinds of food and drinks in here. I took some food and water and headed back over to the two were still conversing with one another.

"Hey there you two" I say while sitting down next to Akira.

"Oh uh hey there" Akira says a bit surprised I was there.

"How long were you there for?" Jun asked.

"Long enough to get some food and get back here, I'm Himari Aikawa, the Ultimate Anchorwoman by the way." I say introducing myself.

"Well nice to meet you, I'm..." He begins but I interrupt him.

"I read about some tabs on you and other ultimates, your Akira, the Ultimate Translator and your girlfriend here is Jun Wu Wang, the Ultimate Foreigner." 

"Oh wow, so you know a lot about the ultimates here...if this is even Hope's Peak Academy?" Jun says, questioning if this really was the same Academy.

"Well I don't see how it couldn't be. I mean that if the same thing happened to you, you felt dizzy right?"

"Yeah, when I entered a classroom, I felt dizzy and went unconscious. We met a few others here that said the same thing, it is so strange." Jun says while Akira holds her hand to comfort her.

I didn't say anything else to them as there was nothing else I could really think to say right now, so I finished eating and went on my way. This was quite a scary situation right now, was this really Hope's Peak Academy and this was some elaborate prank? Or is this a kidnapping that happened, then what did the kidnappers what and what could they gain from doing this? I could not figure out the answer to that at the moment and there were most likely, from what Jun said, many other people in the same strange situation. I would have to look around and talk to them and try to figure out where exactly I was before I could definitely answer just what is happening right now.

And the first part of the prologue is done. This prologue will last for three more chapters, with mostly just finding and talking to the other ultimates while Himari explores this place, so look forward to that!
