Birthday Wishes

George's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I woke up today excited. I almost couldn't sleep last night from my excitement

I did my usual morning routine in my room. I then got ready to meet up with the others for our morning meet ups. When i opened my door three balloons floated at the entrance of my door. Each one a different color and completely covered in sticky notes. Some even on the string of the balloon

I placed them all in my room reading each sticky note with a smile. Each balloon was from one of my new friends

They congratulated me and even gave me birthday wishes and good luck

A few tears had slipped from my eyes. I wiped them away when i had finished reading them. I quickly made my way to the lounge area to see all of them sitting down talking among themselves

"George, Happy birthday!" Throwing her hand's up excitedly. Without missing a beat she turned around quickly and then turned back around throwing something to me. I caught it in a panic

"Hug it! Consider a birthday hug from me" She explained

It was a stuffed wolf. I shrugged and hugged the plushy for a second before simply holding it in my arms

We continued to talk about the plans for the party and who was going to show up

Mandy was excited to tell all of us that her girlfriend was going to show and then proceeded to ask me if my boyfriend was coming

"pftt W-what? I don't-..... i don't have a boyfriend Mandy" I coughed as she proceeded to question what Dream was to me

I explained to her that he was just my best friend. A slight tug in my heart as i said that. She gave me a skeptical look

"Yeah... i said that about my girlfriend and now look at us? Already planning on proposing to her soon. Let's see how long you take to get married to him"

"Not going to happen"

"Wanna take a bet?"

"You're on. There's no way I'm losing this"

"Alright.... Fifty bucks says you two get married before the end of this year"

"Two months? You're on"

We exchanged an air handshake

"Both of you are ridicules" Max said laughing at our air handshake

"You're ridicules" Mandy fired back. Raising his hand's in defense Max only grinned at her

We continued our morning meet up until it was time to head back to our rooms

I stayed in bed for sometime. Melissa had entered my room with a cupcake from the cafeteria and a sticky note from Clay's mom

I thanked her for the cupcake and ate it while i read the dark blue sticky note

Throughout the month i had managed to cover my entire bulletin board with a variety of sticky notes some even making it to the hospital wall because there was no more room

She had written happy birthday and she hoped that i liked Clay's present that he seemed to have talked to her about. She wished me luck today as her final sentence

I quickly wrote her back a thank you before finishing the rest of my cupcake

Does it have to do with his weird questions?

Soon the dark night filled the sky. The beautiful stars i used to never care much about surface the sky littering it. A heart monitor being the only white noise in my room. I was told to stay in my room to wait for someone. I listened because they wouldn't let go of the door handle when i tried

It was quiet peaceful. Something i never took for granted except when it was interrupted. Which it soon was by a soft knock on my door

I got up to open it. I saw Dream wearing a white shirt and black jeans with black shoes. He gave me a big hug that almost crushed me and a soft laughed as i complained about the hug

"I came here to pick a certain someone"

"Oh really~"

"Yeah, have you seen a George around here?"

"Hmm, sadly George is not found here"

We laughed about my dumb joke before getting a little more serious

"Come on let's go everyone is waiting for you now" I nodded checking to make sure i had everything

I took the camera i had asked my mom a while back with me. Quietly cracking jokes as we got closer to the room we had secretly decorated

It was really nice. I said hello to everyone and thanked them for showing up. We were somehow not being loud at all which shocked me. Soon they brought a cake out and sang happy birthday to me. I thanked them and fanned the candles out for Mandy, Andrew and Max's is safety. Wouldn't want to ruin the whole purpose of the distance rule

We laughed and cracked joke's as we ate cake. After a while Clay asked me to follow him. I excused myself from everyone and followed him. He took me to the garden's and we quietly walked around before he finally spoke up

"George you know how to you said you wanted to see the places of America you had always wanted to visit?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, i had an idea... I mapped out a whole trip with all the places you have always wanted to go with a few places i know about that i thought you might liked to visit as well"

"Dream, this is amazing and everything but I'm going back to England in two days?"

"I know.... that's what i wanted to talk to you about... I was wondering if you wanted to...

run away with me?"

".. what?"

"Run away with me George.. I'll take you to all these places before we get caught. You can bring whatever you want. I just want you to be happy. Ever since the program was cut short I've been planning our whole trip. We can go the night before you have to leave or the morning of. I promise to keep you safe and I've kept your condition in mind as i planned it all out... You can always say no to this plan. I'll understand. We can always wait until you can visit America again without having to be stuck in a hospital for the most part"

I was so lost in his speech

He wants me to run away with him?

Is he crazy?

Or am I crazier
