CHAPTER 8

--AFTER 3 WEEKS--

Lucas P.O.V

"Mr. Manoban we finally got the man who betrayed us and stole our money." My right hand man said from the other line.

"Okay beat him up but don't kill him, I'm going to teach him a lesson first." I said holding my temper.

"Okay Mr. Manoban" He said politely.

"Ready my private plane tomorrow morning I'll come back there." I said and hung up the phone.

I walked out to my room and go downstairs. I saw Ruby Jane and Kai kissing each other on the couch. My body burned up in anger.

"MOOOOMM!" I shouted looking at them and they almost jumped in there position because of shocked and I laughed inside me.

"YAH WHAAAT?!!" My mom shouted from the kitchen.

"Nothing mom I just need to talk" I said as walked towards the kitchen.

"What it is?" My mom replied while cooking.

"I'm going back in Thailand tomorrow" I said and my mom stopped what she doing and walked near to me.

"Wh-what? why?" My mom asked me.

"This is important mom. We have a problem in the company and they can't handle it without me." I explained and my mom sighed sadly.

"Okay Lucas but when you come back here?" She asked me and I wet my lips with my tongue and sighed.

"I don't know mom" I said and she nodded for respond suddenly Kai go to the kitchen and took a cold water in the fridge.

"Hey sweetheart where's Ruby Jane?" My mom asked him as he drunk water.

"On the couch watching TV." he said and I rolled my eyes then he's phone rang.

"Oh, wait" He said and went to the balcony and I took advantage to talk with Ruby Jane. This girl is getting to my nerves she ignoring me this past few weeks.

"Ruby Jane can we talk for a minutes?" I asked her as I reached the couch and sat on the single sofa and she look at me.

Ruby Jane P.O.V

After the day that Lucas decided to be my friend, He became close to me and I glad that we close like that but in the other side, me and my boyfriend always fighting because of that he's jealous even I explained to him many times that we just friends.

So I decided to avoid him because I'm tired fighting for the same reason. I felt guilty for Lucas because his a good friend but this is the only way to stop for arguing.

It's a good thing too for me to avoid my feelings for him because it's getting worse when I'm with him. My sexual tension for him is getting bigger and bigger. And I don't know if its really only sexual tension or I've been losing my feelings for Kai because of him.

"Ruby Jane can we talk for a minutes?" I got shocked when I heard Lucas and as he sat on the single sofa and I looked at him.

"Huh? F-for what?" I said avoiding his eyes.

"Look at me Ruby Jane" He command in a deep voice and I slowly look at his dark brown eyes.

"Are you avoiding me? why you ignoring me?" He asked me seriously he's so hot when he's so serious wait what the fuc-

"Wh-what? No" I lied and gulped. He looked at me in a serious face and I swear for the sake of god he looks like devil in a good face.

"Keep telling that" He said as he stand up and walked out as Kai standing behind his sofa looking at us, bit his bottom lip then lower his gaze and Lucas ignored him and just continued walking towards upstairs.

"What was that?" My boyfriend asked me threwing his hand in the air.

"What is that again Kai? He just talk to me!" I said holding my temper.

"I told you about that and here you go again" He said angrily and my mouth widened in shock.

"What? me? It's you Kai it's you!" I stated as I stand up from the couch and pointing my index finger to him.

"Why are you like that to your brother? You're not trusting your brother!" I stated angrily and He walked near to me.

"He likes you Ruby Jane and I'm scared that he might be steal you from me" He said scared as he hold my hands and gently squeezed it.

"I understand you Kai but I'm tired in that reason, You always saying that over and over again." I said as I removed his hands and moved away from him then massage my temple.

"Y-You start l-liking him?" He asked me in a cracktone and I closed my eyes holding my temper. I don't understand him anymore and He doesn't get what i mean.

"Kai you don't understand me!" I said as I walked away from the living area and went to the upstairs to get my jacket

After I get my jacket to his room as I got out, I saw Lucas got out to his room. He's wearing a all black clothes, black t-shirt, leather jacket, trouser and shoes.

He looked at me for a few seconds and started to walked then I walked after him.

"Where are you going Ruby Jane?" Kai asked me as I reached the living room and Lucas leave to their house first.

"Going home" I said coldly and walked towards the door but he stopped me by grabbed my wrist.

"He's driving you home? I'll drive you home instead" He said angrily to me and I just look at him coldly the removed his hand.

"No I'll take a taxi, I can go home by my own" I said and leave to their house.

He's so crazy, obsessed, possessive I'm losing my temper. He's getting worse day by day, I can't take it anymore. I'm tired of that shit and now I need Lucas comfort but weren't okay.

While I'm waiting for a taxi someone cover my mouth and then pulled me inside the car.

He removed his hand to my mouth and I gasping for air.

"Wh-who are you? wh-what do you need?" I asked I can't see his face because it already late night and inside the car is so dark and i smell a familiar scent inside the car.

"You know me Ruby Jane and I need you" He said and started to engine on as the light open inside the car my eyes widened.

"Lu-Lucas?..."
