"No Ruby Jane, I will not allow you to leave this house." Jennie saw how furious his grandpa was when she told him her plan.

"Please grandpa, just give me a year and after that I will come back to you." Jennie still tries to persuade her grandfather by using her secret weapon. But now... since you guys know, it's not a secret anymore.

"Aghhh why do you need to use your aegyo when you know I can't resist that." Mr Kim pouts and shakes his head and takes a deep breath.

"Ruby Jane, your parents were just recently dead. And now you are asking me to let you leave this house and be out there by yourself without anything."

"I know it's not easy for you to let me go grandpa. But you also know that dad never let me feel free. You also know how protective he was to me until I can't attend school while Kai can. I also need to go out with many bodyguards and can't even make new friends besides our maids. So please grandpa, this is only my request, let me be free for a year and I promise you after a year I will come back and fulfil anything you request me to do." Her grandpa smirks with Jennie's answer.

"Okay fine... Just a year Ruby Jane and after that I will send my men to bring you back and if you run, I will find you my granddaughter. And one more thing, please be careful out there." Mr Kim looks at Jennie lovingly that makes Jennie smile. She walks to her grandfather and hugs him tightly.

"I will be grandpa, I promised. Besides, you don't need to worry because Kai is there for me." Jennie tries to cheer for her grandpa.

"That makes me worry more. You know your brother can be stupid sometimes." Jennie laughs at her grandpa's words，well she can't deny that because she saw it by herself when she asked her twin to buy Kuma her dog food but Kai buys cat food and gives the excuse that Kuma looks like the cat in the picture rather than a dog. She can't do anything about that but Kuma did that revenge by itself. Kuma pee on Kai favourite's shirt that made the guy sulk and didn't want to come near Kuma anymore.

Kai can be childish sometimes but he is the only family that Jennie has and she loves Kai so much. When Kai knows Jennie wants to leave the house he immediately asks to tag along because Grandpa Kim is really strict when it comes to Kai and Hanbin but really soft when it comes to Jennie that's why her twin didn't want to leave with his grandpa and choose to follow her sister.

Jennie can't hide her smile when she gets free from her grandpa's house. This is the first time she felt free without any guards to follow or any strict do and don't to follow. Just be herself and enjoy her life to the fullest.

"What are you thinking sis?" Kai asks beside her.

"Nothing Kai. I'm just happy to be free. Finally after 20 years of being like a prisoner, I got the opportunity to let myself be free." Kai chuckled but didn't say anything because he also knows Jennie's life before when their father was still around.

"So... what's your plan now?" Kai asks while looking at Jennie. Kai and Jennie are enjoying their dinner in the restaurant near their apartment.

"Well, I think I wanna start to find a job. I want to learn how to be independent but for you, I want you to continue your study and work at dad's company. If there's any project that needs my approval just bring the document home and I will review that later." Kai groaned and pouted that made Jennie raise her eyebrows.

"Why can you freely work but I still need to attend class and work?"

"Well you know right you will manage the company later together with oppa and for me, I'm the one who asked this to grandpa so it's me that will decide. Take it or leave it!" Jennie smirks while Kai slump his shoulder in defeat. He knows that when his sister says that, he just needs to follow and not to argue. Because savage Jennie is more scary than his strict grandpa.
