Chapter 26

VA year later...

A year has already passed since Jenlisa's wedding day. The couple is really happy to be together with their children. They never thought they would end up together but destiny brings them together. Today is also Lisa's graduation day. After struggling for 2 years, finally she will be free but not too free because she will take over her father's company and be the next CEO. Mr Manoban had decided to travel with her wife to the new country and be in their 'honeymoon mood'.

Jennie on the other hand had decided to be a fashion designer and part time model. She already opened her own cloth's store and had created her own brand. Lisa had become truly supportive. She always supports Jennie and gives her good motivation to never give up and continue to achieve her dream. Jennie was struggling for the first few months, but now she manages to stand on her feet and manage her business well. She let her twin and Hanbin manage her family's company. Her grandfather was disagreeing at first but she manages to convince him (using her secret weapon) and to let her decide her own life.

Even though they are busy with their final year and business, they never neglect their children. They always find some free time to spend together with their children. Lisa also will make an effort to bring her family to holiday and enjoy their quality time together. Her effort always makes Jennie fall more in love with her.

"Wifey... will you come to my graduation day later?" Jennie is helping Lisa wearing her tie. Their different height makes them look cute.

"I'm not sure yet hubby because I just got notified from my secretary that I have a big meeting to discuss today." Lisa pouts hearing Jennie answer but then snuggle in Jennie's neck. She kisses Jennie there that makes Jennie feel guilty.

Lisa loses her hug but remains her hand on Jennie's waist. She looks at her wife's face and smiles. She planted a soft kiss on Jennie's forehead and patted her head.

"It's okay wifey, I know you really need this project. After all, we can celebrate later. Maybe... dinner with me?" Lisa smiled at Jennie but Jennie saw her smile didn't reach her eyes. She also saw sadness in Lisa's eyes that made her feel guiltier but she cannot do anything about it.

Lisa tries to smile even when she feels hurt because she really hopes for Jennie to be there on her graduation's day. She wants to introduce Jennie as her wife to all her friends because some of them still didn't know her status because they choose to keep it secret first until Lisa finishes her study.

Jennie nodded her head and wrapped her hand on Lisa's nape. She plays with Lisa's baby hair there.

"I'm sorry hubby..." Jennie mumbles slowly. Lisa smiles at her and kisses her cheeks many times that make her giggle. Both of them are laughing when suddenly their bedroom's door opens revealing their children.

"Daddy mommy" Ella and Leo peeked their heads to look at their parents.

"Hey my babies come here..." Lisa said cheerfully and opened her hand wide. Ella and Leo run towards Lisa and are ready to hug her but then they walk past her and hug Jennie's waist. Jennie laughs when she sees Lisa frown.

"Oh wow! Daddy thought that daddy would get a lovely hug from my children for my graduation day but turns out nobody wanna hug daddy." Lisa shows her sad face that makes the three of them chuckle. Jennie and their kids always teased Lisa because they really like to see Lisa's expression. Lisa already gets used to this situation so she sometimes will play along with her family.

But today it's different, she didn't know why but she felt hurt because first, her wife will not be there on her important day and second her kids also will not come because they wanted to follow Jennie's grandfather to the beach.
