dream wouldn't have been so nervous if george actually knew that he was on his way to his apartment right now.
about a month ago george had moved into his own apartment and was looking for a roommate. it was unexpected for dream to receive a message from his best friends mom but when he read her idea of him moving in to surprise george, there was no way that he could have said no.
guilt washed over dream as he realised that his cab driver had been talking yet he had been too preoccupied with his thoughts to notice. his heart pounded against his chest as he made his into the apartment building. it wasn't anything fancy but it definitely wasn't one of the cheapest apartment's either.
as he stood in front of the door countless thoughts ran through his head. george was on the other side of this door. his best friend was standing less than a kilometer away from him. george wouldn't even know it was dream until he spoke. maybe not even then.
now here he was, standing in front of door G4, trying to build up the courage to ring the bell. after releasing a deep breath, he pressed the bell.
