Dean's jade eyes illuminated with excitement as he heard Jack's words.

"He's here Dean. He's here in heaven."

Jack nodded, his hands resting in his coat pockets, rocking back and forth on his heels. His golden hair shone bright in the sunlight, his white clothing vividly separating him from the greens and blues of the landscape surrounding him. He glowed with hope and kindness. His blue eyes glittered in the light as he saw the glowing look of hope spread across Dean's face. He'd never seen that look from Dean before, Dean had always looked so afraid and worried about the world around him when he'd known him before.

This version of Dean he saw now was happy. Happiness was one thing Jack had rarely seen from Dean back on earth. Dean had been worried about the world around him, afraid what the next day would bring for him and Sam. Jack had always worried about Dean. Dean had always handled his feelings in an unhealthy way. And that frightened Jack. It really did.

But now, Dean was different. Dean was calm and happy. This made Jack very happy. He was sad that Dean ended up in his new version of heaven so soon, but he knew that Dean being there finally freed him from his pain on earth. Finally.

A sudden flutter of cloth happened behind Dean. He felt a rush of excitement wash over him. Feeling a familiar presence behind him, one that he felt he'd never feel again. He turned, and there he was. Just as he remembered. The angel he loved more than anything.

Cas.

Cas walked up, a kind smile on his face. His trench coat fluttering in the breeze as he made his way toward Dean. He'd missed Dean more than anything in the universe. He remembered when he sacrificed himself for Dean, confessing his love and being sucked into the onyx abyss of the empty. He'd felt like he'd never escape that place. He'd thought that was it. That that was the end of it all.

Dean hurried forward, wrapping his arms around Cas. A tear danced down his cheek as he held Cas. Cas wrapped his arms awkwardly around him, a kind smile on his face as he felt peace, Dean was here. They were reunited once again.

Dean let go, stepping back. Wiping the tear from his cheek as he looked at Cas. He placed his hands in his coat pockets, just admiring Cas.

"I missed you so much."

Dean said, his face glowing with contentment. This truly was heaven.

"I missed you as well, Dean."

Cas' smile shone brighter than the sun above them as he said those words. He truly had missed Dean. The one he loved. Just saying Dean's name brought him immense happiness.

They were both happy.

At last.
