Elleanor met him when she was 14; when her life turned upside down and fate decided to play with her heartstrings. Everything she had ever known was destroyed, taken away from her at the most terrible way possible. It made her think that Death was indeed following her around, killing everything and everyone she ever considered dear to her.
What she didn't expect, however, is that Fate had indeed put Death in Elleanor's life, but with a totally different purpose - to make her experience love for the first time. Problem is, Death does not have a heart.
