Time skip

I had gone to work right away and could even get about three hours of sleep before my uncle came to get me inside. It was still before sunrise, since they didn't want the neighbours to see me. I destroyed their picture of a perfectly normal family. He dragged me inside by my arm. At first, he didn't say anything, but as soon as door was closed behind us and we were standing in the kitchen he began. "We took you in when you had nothing. We gave you a home, a family, everything you needed, but that is how you repay us for it? We wanted you to do one, two little chores, but you did nothing. You didn't even try to do them. You aren't the least bit grateful towards us. I'll have to discipline you." He smiled and seemed happy while saying all this, but well, he always was happy when he got to punish me. I had learned long ago, that the happier he was, the worse it would end for me. And in all these years I've never seen him as happy as today. I wasn't so sure whether I'd survive this punishment or not. In hope of calming the escalating situation I tried to defend myself in front of him. "From the list of chores, you gave me I did all of the one I could do outside during the night." By then it was already too late as I realised, that it would have better for me if I didn't say anything. Because now uncle Vernon wasn't happy anymore. Now he was pissed. His face had turned into a bright angry red. It might even had looked kind of funny, an exploding walrus, if his anger wouldn't have been directed at me. "So, your saying, you've not only not done the chores we've given you, you also broke into our house in the middle of the night while we were peacefully sleeping, trusting you to stay in the garden like we told you to?" His rage grew on with every single word he spat at me. I tried to make myself as small as possible in hope of at least being a bit prepared for the following maybe even hours.

(I'm skipping this part because I think I'd never be able to write it how I imagine it to be like. I also don't know what actions might be triggering for some people and which not. So, just let your minds run free and imagine it yourself.)

I woke up in the dark. After my first server punishments I had freaked out about not knowing where I was, but by now it was common for me to be tossed into my cupboard after passing out. I didn't even try to move, since I knew it would only worsen the injuries and pain. ~Sindra, are you there?~ As her answer she licked over my cheek. One of the only parts of my body that wasn't bloodied or too bruised. ~Did anyone see you?~ ~No, I stayed hidden. Why can't I just poison them? They're nothing but a waste of way too much space.~ ~We can't do that. The light would get suspicious of us and if they discover you, the would kill you just because you are alive. We can't risk that. Hopefully uncle Vernon will leave me alone for now, so I can heal for a bit.~ I probably shouldn't have talked so much because it started to take a toll on me and with all the blood loss I already was weak to begin with. I slowly slid into unconsciousness. The last thing I felt was Sindra who curled around my left hand.
