Harry P.o.V

The following time passed fast. Mostly everything passed in a feverish haze. Sindra helped me keeping track of time and cleaning my wounds, so they wouldn't get too inflected. When I was younger I nearly lost one of my legs because of an inflammation.

Already three days had passed when uncle Vernon opened the small door again. I had to keep my eyes shut for a moment. After staying in the dark for so long the sunlight burned. "Get up freak, now. You've been lazy for far too long. Go, make the dishes." He was still furious. He'd probably keep an eye on everything I do and punish me for any mistake I'd make. No matter how little they may are. I slowly stood up, ignoring the overwhelming pain. I surely had a fever as well, looking at how hot my body felt. I stumbled outside and made my way towards the kitchen. Sindra hid underneath my clothes, curled around my waist. Maybe I could slip her outside, so she could hunt some food for herself. Uncle Vernon pushed me forward nearly causing me to fall. "Hurry, freak!" I stumbled into the room and began doing the dishes that have been left alone for quite some time. Sindra didn't have a chance to slip away yet so she was still securely curled around me. More than once I had to stop working to get uncle Vernon a snack or something to drink. It was the late afternoon that I finally finished everything. Now the only thing left to do, was putting the clean dishes onto the right shelves. Unfortunately, uncle Vernon didn't let me use my stool. I was still too small to reach everything in the house, so I used an old metal stool. But now it was standing about two meters away from me. With his eyes he was daring me to get it. Hopefully I'd be able to complete the task without it. I should have known it wasn't going to work out. I couldn't reach the top shelf to put the last two glasses away, but still tried. I had to or uncle Vernon would have punished me for my laziness. Maybe that would have been the better option. I stumbled and fell together with the glasses. They were two thin wine glasses and shattered instantly. These broken parts sliced both my arms when I fell on them and just kept digging deeper into my skin. Unfortunately, my spectacles broke as well and sliced my face. I got most of the shards into my eyes. I couldn't see anymore, but I heard Vernon. He came to me and grabbed me by my hurt arm. He didn't even say anything. I was lucky to survive the last punishment. This one I wouldn't.

"Please, my child. Take what's rightfully yours and live." Everything was dark around me and I heard a soft voice talking. The last thing I remembered before this is uncle Vernon kicking me way too often into my back and head. Everything was silent. Not scary, but reassuring and in some way loving. "It's still too early for us to meet. Your father misses you. Meet him and be your true self." I could feel how I regained my consciousness but the darkness still didn't fade. I laid on the ground, feeling grass and some other weeds under my hand. The Dursleys must have thrown me out after they finished. I tried to sit up but burning pain soured through my back. Groaning in pain I sank back down. ~Harry! Your still alive. I thought I lost you.~ ~Sindra, thank God your still there. What happened and where are we?~ Sindra curled loosely around my head. She must have been really worried about me. ~After everything was over we both suddenly disappeared and reappeared here. It had only been some minutes and I haven't seen anyone yet, but somebody seems to live in the mansion nearby.~, Sindra informed me about our situation. ~I can't move at the moment. The best thing would be to ask the people in the mansion to help. Right now that's the only thing we can do. I can feel magic all around us so they hopefully shouldn't be too shocked to see you.~ Sindra nodded slowly, making sure I could feel it on my cheek. ~I'm not comfortable with letting you all by yourself, but you need help. I'll be back as fast as possible. Stay safe.~ With that she slithered away and I tried to move as less as possible. Up till now I didn't have time to thin, but now I realised that my body had changed. There was a weight on top of my head and on my back that hadn't been there before. Also, I wasn't just laying on grass but something with the texture of leather. I could feel the blood from my eyes running down my cheeks. Hoping that Sindra would hurry and come back with help in time, I slowly blacked out again.
