During the summer I was laying in my bed daydreaming about the wonderful world of magic when all of a sudden, I hear Luna downstairs making breakfast.
"Ugh!! Luna would you keep it down, I'm trying to daydream!" I say in frustration.
"Sorry, I'm just making us breakfast. Our favorite, chocolate chip pancakes." Luna hollers back.
"Wait!? Did you say chocolate chip pancakes!?" I rush downstairs, thumping down each step. "Uh, why are there so many steps in this house?" I think.
"For once you did something right," I say downstairs as I gobble down the pancakes. "Question, why did you make us breakfast? You normally only make yourself breakfast," I ask in confusion.
"Well.... there was something in the mail that I thought you should know about, it's really important," Luna says putting her fork down, her voice was serious like I'd never heard it before.
"What is it?" I swallow and put my fork down. I say very confused at what she's talking about.
"It's about Hogwarts, I got our letters in the mail," Luna said. She takes out the letters and hands me mine.
"No way!? You're joking right!? I can't believe it!!!" I say just as excited as her.
I tar my letter open, Luna tars hers open. We both take the paper out. I read it slowly, making sure not to miss anything. I read it again, and again. I can't believe what I'm seeing!
"We get to go to Hogwarts!!" I shout in excitement. We both jump for joy. "When do we start?" I ask.
"The letter says in August," Luna tells me. She could see the disappointment on my face. "Don't be so bummed out. It's close to the end of July and August is less than a month away. It'll be around in no time."
