Damn, y'all seem to like this thing. Have another part!

The next morning, Mineta walked into the classroom as usual. But he was nervous. The events from his nightmare still lingered in his head. What if his dream was just a warning for what was in store for him?

Turned out, he worried for nothing.

The day was filled with the same comments made in the group chat.

Sure, there were people who told Mineta they supported him in person, but there were other comments that made him uneasy.

"So ... Shoji, huh?" pretty much everyone had asked him. Except for Shoji himself, of course.

Eventually Mineta decided to figure out what was going on, so he pulled up the group chat of everyone in 1-A except Shoji

There's a group chat with every member of Class 1-A minus one person for every student. They only use them once a year to plan surprise parties for their birthdays, though. This was the first time they used a group chat for something other than a surprise party.

Group Chat Name: Class 1-A minus Shoji

Grape Boi: Okay, what's going on? You all somehow know that I have a crush on Shoji. I only told Kaminari and Mina.

Pikachu: I stayed true to my word. My lips are sealed.

Alien Queen: Welllllll I kinda told the girl's at our girl's night ... and I told Kiri and Sero cuz they're my best friends.

I'm Hard: I told Bakubro, but I know he can keep a secret

Spiderman: And I told everyone else.

Grape Boi: 🤦

Grape Boi: That was supposed to be a secret.

Alien Queen: I know, I know, but think about it this way - now that everyone knows, we can all help you!

Grape Boi: Help me? How?

Pikachu: We can see if we can get you two together. See if we can get you two to interact with each other more.

Edgy Birb: Shoji's my best friend. I can see if I can figure out how he feels about you.

Grape Boi: You'd do that?

Edgy Birb: Yes. We hang out frequently, so hopefully, I'll get an answer soon.

Grape Boi: Thanks!

Edgy Birb: Don't mention it.

Later on, Mineta was walking down the hall, when suddenly an arm shot out and blocked him. Mineta immediately recognized it's purple shadowy form. He turned around, and sure enough, Tokoyami was right behind him.

Dark Shadow retracted as Tokoyami approached him.

"Oh! Hey, Tokoyami. What's up?" Mineta asked.

"There is something I wish to acknowledge but was unable to in the group chat."

Mineta internally swallowed. The look on Tokoyami's face - as usual - was unreadable. There was no way he could tell what he was thinking.

"I meant what I said about trying to help you. Truth be told, I can see it. However," his blood red eyes turned to ice. "if it does work out and you break his heart, just remember that it is my job as his best friend to come to his defense."

"In other words," Dark Shadow continued, slithering out from behind. "break his heart, and we will break your kneecaps. Got it?"

Mineta thought about the training camp and the story he heard about Dark Shadow going wild. The idea of that going after him was really terrifying. "G-Got it."

"Good!" Dark Shadow squawked with a happy grin and then retreated.

Tokoyami's sharp gaze softened and he even smiled a little. "I just figured I'd let you know. That said, I hope it works out for you two." With that, he spun on his heel and started to walk back to his dorm.

"Thanks again!" Mineta hollered after him.

"No problem," Tokoyami replied, nonchalantly.

In the days that followed, the class tried everything they could to get Mineta and Shoji alone together.

Most of that consisted of all of them coming up with an excuse to leave whenever both of them showed up to the common room.

"Oh! Something just came up! Training!" Deku claimed, looking at his phone.

"All Might," Bakugou mumbled under his breath so no one would hear it.

"Training sounds great!" Kirishima said, clashing his fists together. "Wanna come, Bakubro?"

"Don't call me that, Shitty Hair. And sure."

So the three of them left.

"I'm gonna go study in my room. It'll be quieter. If anyone wants to join me, they can," Yao-Momo said.

"Take me with you!" Kaminari immediately said.

"Same. I'm struggling with Ectoplasm's recent math concept," Jiro said.

"I am, too," Ojiro said.

"Me too," Hagakure chimed.

"Well, if you're all getting help with it, I might as well join," Sero said.

And so the six of them headed upstairs.

But on the way out, Kaminari winked at Mineta, knowing that them leaving would leave him and Shoji alone.

Mineta immediately blushed.

Shoji noticed the wink, but he just took it as Kaminari bragging about getting to hang with some of the girls.

"S-So, um, do you have anything going on?" Mineta asked. Damn it! Why'd I stutter like that?!

"Not really," Shoji said, walking towards the kitchen.

"Heh. Yeah. Neither do I," Mineta said blandly, nervously looking around the room. Okay, you're going to be fine. You're just alone with your crush. Just don't gay panic and you will be fine.

Mineta's thoughts got interrupted when Shoji returned with a plate of black squid ink pasta. The shorter male watched as the tall male quietly fed the pasta into a tentacle mouth. The next thing Mineta knew, he was just staring at Shoji's arm muscles.

He must've been staring too long, because the next thing Mineta knew, Shoji had looked over. Mineta panicked and turned around, his face completely red. He walked over to the couch and turned on the TV to see what was on. He eventually settled on the news, so he could see what was happening in the world.

He was watching Edgeshot beat the crap out of a villain when suddenly a flicker of movement caught his attention from the corner of his eye. He turned and saw Shoji settling himself on the other end of the couch.

"So what's going on?" Shoji asked.

"Edgeshot catching a villain that tried to rob a store. A handful of hostages. There don't seem to be any injuries," Mineta informed.

Shoji gave a small nod and the two of them continued to watch the screen.

Should I tell him now? Mineta asked himself. We're both alone! Now would be the perfect time!

He risked a glance over to his classmate, then looked away. No. I don't want to risk it. Those who left earlier could be back at any moment. Besides, I don't know what the others are doing. I should wait until it's just the two of us alone in the building.

With that, the two of them spent the rest of the afternoon watching the news. It wasn't much, but to Mineta, it was an afternoon well spent.
