Alexis's POV

We made it back to the safe house and we burst through the doors after I put Lightning in my backpack.

"Is that camera up and running?" Tony asked, referring to the camera he gave Layla.

"What's going on? Why'd you let Layla back go back in?" Frostee then asked.

"I couldn't stop her. Especially with how mad about what they did to her," Tony stated.

"Wait, who did what to her?!" Frostee asked.

"Turns out, the formula mind controls people. That's why she was acting like a criminal," I said.

"At least, that's what she said," Echo then said.

"What do you mean. You don't believe her?" Tony then asks.

"Yesterday all those gangsters were calling her the 'boss'. Today, when we caught her, she said she was mind-controlled, but then she got back in the car to the gangsters!" Echo argued.

"But she's wearing my pin," Tony stated.

"Mind control, bro?! I believe in weather machines and aliens as much as the next guy, but this sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory," Cisco then said.

"Of course! I can't believe I didn't realize it before. Donut listened to me because he ran through the formula, and back at my house the formula exploded and I ended up cleaning my room, and cleaning the restaurant, and... combing a bunch of doll hair... I mind-controlled myself!" Frostee then realized.

"Do you know what this means?" Gary asked us. "Someone with this kind of power could bring forth an apocalyptic catastrophe like never before. A single puppet master capable of--" Gary started saying, but was cut off by Echo.

"Stop! We get it, it's bad. We don't have time for a whole thing," She stated.

"Guys, we gotta figure out what Layla's up against in there and who the ringleader is," Tony then told us.

"I think 'puppet master' is a more accurate term..." Gary said.

"Fine. Puppet master. Now can you get us aerial footage of the compound?" Tony asked Gary.

"Pulling up the satellite feed now," Gary said.

"And Frostee, we need to know everything we can about how this formula works," Tony then told Frostee.

"If it works," Echo stated.

"How long does it last? What happens when you're under it's influence? Everything," Tony said.

"Ooh! Science experiment time," Frostee said, and then ran to the lab room.

"Layla's going into the lion's den and she needs our support," Tony stated.

"Haré cualquier cosa para ayudarla,(I'll do anything to help her out.)" I then said.

Timeskip

After some time was spent, Frostee came back with Cisco following behind him.

"Okay. We need a subject," He said.

We all then looked at each other confused.

"We're gonna need someone who is irresponsible, stubborn, a runaway, and knows how to take care of themselves and doesn't need anybody to tell them what to do," I explained.

I basically just described myself, and I didn't even realize it. I look up at everyone to see them smirking at me.

"Spray her, Cisco," Frostee said.
