"You think I'm attractive?" Evan says cutting Ariel off with a big smirk plastered on his face.

"What?!? No!!! Give me my book back Evan!" Ariel says trying to keep her composure, as she tries to get her book back, a blush starts to creep on her face. Ariel isn't one to get embarrassed easily, but right now is one of the few times in her life that she has.

"I mean as much as I dislike him I can deny that I find him attractive" Evan recites from her diary, causing Ariel's blush to deepen.

"Shut up!!!" Ariel yells, causing a few students to look their way as Ariel finally is able to snatch her diary back. She immediately shoves it into her backpack and takes out her textbooks trying to ignore the embarrassment of what just happened, she opens her textbook and starts reading completely ignoring Evan in hope that he would just go away and she could be left alone to wallow in her embarrassment.

"Hey Ariel, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I didn't think it was your diary. I honestly don't know what I thought it was and I let my curiosity get the better of me." Ariel looks up at Evan from behind her text book to see him looking at her with a sad look on his face, he looked sincere.

"He's such a dunce." Ariel thought to herself. She didn't want to forgive him though, she wanted him to feel bad for what he did, but the pout that was on his face made her feel really bad for wanting him to feel guilty.

"You're not forgiven." Ariel states turning her eyes back to her text book.

Before Evan could say anything the bell rings signaling that class is starting. Ariel kept her head straight ahead looking at the teacher not sparing Evan a glance, though she could feel him looking at her every now and then.

Ariel was curious to why Evan cared so much and why he felt bad. He's always been utterly obnoxious and she thought he has been doing it on purpose, but he's never apologized for it, yet here he was feeling guilty for reading her diary. Glancing at her with an apologetic look every now and then.

When class ended Ariel was quick to bolt out the door before anyone could stop her, she made her way towards the library because she had a free period.

When she arrived she took her usual seat on a loveseat that was situated in the corner of the library's lounge around, her two friends Riley and Mira already seated there waiting on her since English always ran late.

"Hey Ari! What's up?" Riley said in her usually happy voice.

Riley was a cheerleader, it was obvious with the way she carried herself, she was a happy go lucky girl, always cheering people on, having a happy take on life and always daydreaming about her "perfect guy." She loved being a cheerleader and worked incredibly hard to get there, it had been her dream since she was a little girl, along with starting a family one day with her dream guy. Riley had many friends, including all of the cheer squad, which were all relatively nice girls, none of them were mean, and always happy to help. Even though Riley had a huge group of friends she always stuck to her two besties, they had been friends since 3rd grade and they hadn't changed that in the past 9 years.

Riley has straight long strawberry blonde hair, a perfect pair of monolid baby blue eyes, she has pointed thin lips, a small pointed nose that all rests on her diamond shaped face, with a petite pear like figure that stood at 5'3.

"Nothing really, just frustrating." Ariel said with a huff.

"Why you frustrated, boo?" Mira asked in her usually sassy tone.

Mira was a bit of a sassy kinda person, she loved to be right and would always put up a good fight when she felt like it, she had a bit of a lazy personality, she didn't do things unless she felt like it, she never obligated herself to something, you never knew whether or not she'd show up to something unless it was apart of her day to day or one of her besties was there. In basic, Mira did what she wanted to when she wanted to, and no one was gonna tell her different. Mira had a tendency to scare people with her confidence, she has a very strong personality which usually ends her up in sassy verbal fights which she usually comes out on top. Mira was like the big sister of the group while Riley held more of a younger sister type to their little group.

Mira has wavy chestnut brown hair that came down to just above her chest, she has deep hooded chocolate brown eyes, full red heart shaped lips and a medium sized nose that fit her heart shaped face perfectly, she has a beautiful shade of espresso skin that fit her perfectly and a heavy hourglass figure that stood at about 5'8.

"Evan Prefect. I don't even have the words to describe how much of a perfect jerk he is." Ariel complains.

"It's always something about Evan, isn't it? I think she might have a crush on him at this point Mira." Riley says, ending with a little giggle.

"I do not! He's just always annoying me and it gets frustrating!" Ariel exclaims.

"You are kinda obsessed with him, love. I mean you talk about how much he annoys you almost everyday, Riles don't even talk about her crush that much." Mira says in a matter of fact tone.

"Well you don't know what he did today. He read my diary for goodness sake!" Ariel soft yells. Mira and Riley look at her with wide eyes.

"Hunny, he did what?"

"How did Evan get a hold of your diary?"

Ariel explains to them what happened before class started. After Ariel had finished Mira and Riley exchanged glances before bursting into laughter.

"You wrote down that he was attractive and he read that. My God, that's hilarious." Mira says wiping a tear from her left eye.

"You find Evan attractive yet you hate him? Ari that makes no sense. Evan apologized and seems guilty, I think you should accept his apology. He obviously knows what he did was wrong." Riley says.

"Oh come on. Anyone who's seen Evan knows he's got a pretty face, he's not called "Mr. Perfect" for no reason, it's perfectly reasonable to think he's attractive and still hate him. But why should I accept his apology, he doesn't deserve it, he should've just minded his own business. I don't understand why he's always been messing with me anyways." Ariel said obviously not changing her mind on forgiving Evan. Mira and Riley exchanged glances at each other wondering how their friend could be so oblivious to Evans and herself.

"Fine then, don't accept his apology." Mira says shaking her head.

"Just prepare yourself Ari, Evan isn't one to give up easily." Riley says giving Ariel a small smile and with that the girls started their usual afternoon talk about the latest gossip and catching up on their homework
