Mentorship

Deku walked in the kitchen and grabbed an apple and held it with his teeth as he grabbed the tray of cakes.
He walked in the feast hole where everyone was sitting at the table and All Might was telling the three boys the story about his foot.
"And then out of nowhere, the biggest mountain lion you've ever seen, his hide littered with the weapons of fallen warriors, his face scared with one dead eye, I drew my sword and", said All Might.
"Whoosh one swipe, his sword shattered, then chomp, Mights leg was clean off, down the monsters throat it went", interrupted Deku.
"Ah that's my favorite part", said All Might.
"Dabi has never been seen since, and is roaming the wilds waiting his chance of revenge, roar", said Deku.
Deku continued to make mountain lion noises.
"Let him return, I'll finish what I guddled in the first place", said All Might.
Deku sat the bow on the table.
"Midoriya, a prince does not place his weapons on the table", said Todoroki.
"Todoroki, it's just my bow", said Deku annoyed.
"A prince shouldn't talk back to me in my opinion", said Todoroki.
"Let him be, prince or not he should try to have a little bit of freedom every once in a while", said All Might.
Todoroki gave All Might a cold stare and continued to look through the papers.
"Todoroki, you'll never guess what I did today", said Deku.
"Hm", said Todoroki.
"I climbed the Crone's Tooth and drank from the Fire Falls", said Deku.
The boys looked up surprised.
"Fire Falls, they say the ancient kings were brave enough to drink the fire", said All Might.
Deku and All Might both laughed.
"What did you do brother", asked Todoroki.
"Nothing Shoto", said Deku annoyed.
"Hungry aren't we", said Todoroki.
"Todoroki", said Deku annoyed.
"You'll get dreadful collywobbles, oh General Might will you look at Midoriya's plate", said Todoroki.
"So what", said All Might.
Two dogs ran up in All Mights face and tries to lick it and eat his meat.
"Don't let them lick, boys your being naughty don't just play with your Soba", said Todoroki.
Tamashiro held some of his Soba with his chop sticks at Kota and Kota gagged.
"How do you know you not like it if you won't try it".
The elderly maid walked in the feast hole with a tray of letters.
"That's just noodles made from buckwheat, it's delicious, Mm".
The maid handed Todoroki the letters.
"My king", said the maid.
"Thank you Shuzenji", said Todoroki grabbing the letters.
Shuzenji walked away.
Deku signaled the boys at the cakes and slide them down under the table and the boys went under the table.
"Ah from the lords Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugo, their responses no doubt", said Todoroki.
The dogs continued to eat All Mights food.
"Hey hey, stay out of my food you greedy mongrels", said All Might.
The boys had an idea of tying All Might's foot to the table.
"Chew on that you manky dogs".
The dogs chewed and pulled on All Mights peg leg.
"General, they've all accepted", said Todoroki.
"Who's accepted what brother", asked Deku.
"Boys, you are excused", said Todoroki.
The three boys left and one of them fell and cakes spreaded everywhere on the floor.
The dogs ran off.
"What did I do now", asked Deku confused.
"The general has something to discuss with you", said Todoroki sterned.
All Might spitted out his water.
"General".
"Er... Midoriya", said All Might.
All Might took too long to speak any further so Todoroki took over.
"All Might has sent letters to the lords to present their mentorship, for when you will get a mentor to prepare you for the future", said Todoroki.
"What", asked Deku.
"The clans have accepted", said Todoroki skilling.
"All Might", said Deku upset.
"What, I.....you.....he..... your majesty", said All Might.
Deku slams his head on the table.
"This year, each clan will present a suitor compete in the games for your mentorship", said Todoroki.
"I suppose a prince just does what he's told", said Deku angerly slamming his fists on the table.
"A prince does not raise his voice, Midoriya if I can't prepare you for the future than I have to let a professional do it", said Todoroki.
"No, this is not what I want, it's what you want", said Deku angerly standing up.
"I won't go through with it, you can't make me".
Deku stomped to his room.
"Midoriya", said Todoroki.
Todoroki signed All Might to stop Deku.
All Might stood up and walked.
"Midoriya", said all Might.
Then the rope pulled and the table knocked over and everything fell off as Todoroki got up and went after Deku.
"BOYS"!
Todoroki walked in Deku's room and found him swinging his sword at the bed poles.
"Todoroki, suitors, mentor's", said Deku upset.
"Once there was an ancient kingdom", said Todoroki.
"Uh Todoroki, ancient kingdom", said Deku annoyed.
"It's name long forgotten, ruled by a wise and fair king who was much beloved", said Todoroki holding a king chess piece.
Then the story goes to an old king with four sons.
"And when he grew old, he divided the kingdom among his four sons".
Todoroki grabbed a chess board and setted the board on four chess pieces.
"But the oldest prince wanted to rule the land for himself".
Then it goes to a man with scared skin on his arms, from lower jawline to collarbone, and under his eyes burning the kingdom with blue flames.
"He followed his own path and the kingdom fell, to war, and chaos and ruin".
Todoroki pulled the black chess piece from under the chess board and the board fell with chess pieces everywhere.
"That's a nice story", said Deku sarcastically.
"It's not just a story, legends are lessons, they ring with truths", said Todoroki.
"Uhg, brother", said Deku annoyed.
"I would advise you to make your peace with this, the clans are coming to present their suitors", said Todoroki.
"It's not fair", said Deku mad.
"Och Izuku it's mentorship, it's not the end of the world", said Todoroki walking out.
Deku slammed the door in anger.
Later on Todoroki was knitting a tapestry of him, Deku and All Might holding hands as he was muttering.
The tapestry showed Todoroki on the left, All Might on the right, and Deku in the middle.
All Might walked in the knitting room.
"Your muttering", said All Might.
"I don't mutter", said Todoroki.
"Aye, you do, you mutter Denka when something's troubling you", said All Might.
"I blame you, stubborness, it's entirely from you", said Todoroki.
"I take it the talk didn't go too well then", said All Might.
"Och, I don't know what to do", said Todoroki.
"Then speak to him", said All Might.
"I do speak to him, he just doesn't listen", said Todoroki.
"Come now, pretend I'm Midoriya, speak to me", said All Might sitting on a stool.
"Uhg, I can't do this", said Todoroki.
"Sure you can", said All Might.
Todoroki gave him a cold stare.
"There, that's my king, right here we go, I don't want to have a mentor, I want let my hair flow in the wind as I ride through the forest, firing arrows into the sunset".
"Midoriya, all this work, all the time spent preparing you, schooling you, giving you everything we never had, I ask you, what do you expect us to do", asked Todoroki.
It goes back and forth to Deku in the stables and Todoroki in the knitting room.
"Call of the gathering, would that kill them, your the king, you can just tell the lords the prince does not want this and in fact might not ever want this so that's that good day to you, well expect your declarations of war in the morning", answered Deku angerly raking the hay.
"I understand this must all seem unfair, even I had to face reservations when I faced mentorship after father died, but we can't just run away from who we are", said Todoroki.
"I don't want my life to be over, I want my freedom", said Deku mad.
"But are you willing to pay the price your freedom will cost", asked Todoroki.
"I'm not doing any of this to hurt you", said Deku mad brushing Kunio.
"If you could just try to see what I do, I do out of love", said Todoroki.
"But it's my life, it's....I just don't want this", said Deku.
"I think you can see, if you could just", said Todoroki.
"I think I could make you understand if you would just", said Deku.
"Listen", said Todoroki.
"Listen", said Deku.
Kunio neighed at Deku.
"I swear Kunio this isn't going to happen".
Deku petted Kunio's head.
"Not if I have any say in it".
