Deku crying rode away on Kunio through the forest.
Until a little more ways in the forest Deku was hit by some branches and then Kunio got afraid and stopped throwing Deku forward into a circle of tall stones.
"Kunio", said Deku sobbing.
Kunio moved around afraid outside of the stone circle.
Deku circled around and saw every tall stone and then he saw a whisp on the edge where a deep, dark path was.
Deku walked up to the whisp and it disappears for a second then several whisps appears in a line down the dark path.
"Come on Kunio".
Kunio was too afraid to move.
"Kunio".
Kunio decided to walk on the outside of the stones to Deku then they went down the dark pathway following the whisps as they disappear when they move closer.
Then they we're lead to an old cottage.
"Why would the whisps lead me here"?
Deku walked inside and saw a bunch of wood carvings of mountain lions.
Deku saw a short old man in a robe and pointy hat and a black eye mask carving a wooden mountain lion statue.
"Good day sir, you holler if you see anything you like, everything is half off", said the old man.
"Uh who are you", asked Deku.
"Gran Torino, I'm just a humble wood carver", answered Torino sweeping the floor.
Deku picked up a wooden mountain lion sugar cup.
"I don't understand", said Deku.
Torino snuck up next to Deku surprising him making him drop the cup.
"See anything you like", said Torino.
"Perhaps a touch of whimsy to brighten any dank champer".
Torino showed Deku two wooden mountain lions seesawing with a ball.
"But the will o the whisps, they", said Deku.
"Oh, this is one of a kind", said Torino showing Deku a wooden mountain lion moving it's head back and forth and wooden fish rotating.
"I'll make a deal for this rare prize".
Deku heard sweeping and turned around seeing the broom sweeping on its own.
"Ahh your broom", said Deku pointing to the broom.
Torino snapped his fingers and the broom stopped sweeping.
"It was sweeping by itself".
"That's ridiculous, wood cannot be imbued with magical properties, I should know I'm a war...... whittler of wood", said Torino.
Torino putted down the moving wooden mountain lion.
"Oh how about this conversation starter, it's made of cedar wood, gives a good scent of smell".
Deku backed away into some hanging wooden mountain lions and saw a small orange dragon on top of a mountain lion statue.
"Oh ah ah ah ah, that's stuffed".
Deku tried touching it but the dragon snapped at him.
"Staring is rude", said the dragon.
"Ahhhh, the dragon's talking", yelled Deku scared.
"That's not all I can do, I can sing, la la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaa", said the dragon.
Torino snapped his fingers and the broom wacked the dragon to the ground.
The broom sweeped the dragon away but then gets up and roars at the broom scaring it.
The broom hides behind a mountain lion statue.
"You're a warlock", said Deku.
"Woodcarver", said Torino chiseling a wooden mountain lion.
"That's why the whisps lead me here", said Deku.
"Woodcarver", said Torino spinning a piece of log and turns it into a small mountain lion statue.
"You'll change my fate", said Deku.
"Woodcarver", said Torino chopping a large log with an axe showing a wooden carving of a mountain lion.
"You see it's my foster brother", said Deku.
"I'm not a warlock, too many unsatisfied customers", said Torino sterned.
"If your not going to buy anything, get out".
Torino snapped his fingers and sharp wood working tools pointed and slowly moved at Deku forcing him out.
"No the whisps lead me here", said Deku.
"I don't care", said Torino.
The door opened as Deku reached the door almost out.
"Get out, shoo, get, be gone with you"!
"I'll buy it all", yelled Deku.
"What, what was that", asked Torino.
"Every carving", answered Deku.
The tools pointed towards Torino.
"(Laughs) and how are you going to pay for that Amaimono", asked Torino.
The tools pointed back to Deku.
"With this", answered Deku.
Deku took off the mountain lion medallion and the tools dropped to the ground as Torino was amazed by the medallion.
"Oh my that's lovely that is", said Torino.
"That would set us up for months", said the dragon.
Torino tried to swipe it but Deku pulled it back from him.
"Ah ah ah, every carving and one spell", said Deku.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing", asked Torino.
"I want a spell to change my foster brother, that will change my fate", answered Deku.
"Hmm....done", said Torino swiping the medallion.
He walked outside with Deku and the dragon flying outside too.
"Where are you going", asked Deku.
Torino snapped his fingers and the door closed shut.
"There", said Torino.
"What are you doing", asked Deku.
"You never conjure where you carve, very important", said Torino.
Torino opened the door and walked inside with the dragon flying in showing a black cauldron and potions, candles and ingredients on the shelves.
Deku walked in very amazed by the cottage transformation.
"The last time I did this was for a scared prince".
Torino clapping his hands and the inside of the cauldron lit up green as the dragon flew on a wooden beam.
"Easy on the eyes, tight pants", said the dragon.
"He demanded I give him the strength of ten men, and he gave me this for a spell, a spell that would change his fate", said Torino showing Deku a ring with a fire symbol.
"And did he get what he was after
"And made off with an especially attractive sakura cheese board", answered Torino.
"Now what do I need"?
Torino found something in the basket and threw it in the cauldron.
"A little bit of this".
Then he threw some sort of stick in the cauldron.
"And some of that".
The dragon pulled off a piece of Deku's hair.
"Ow", said Deku.
The dragon gave Torino the piece of hair and he threw it in the cauldron.
"That will do", said Torino grabbing a giant wooden spoon.
Torino stirred everything together and the top of the spoon was disintegrated and threw it away.
Torino putted an iron shield on his face and the dragon's face too.
As the spell was forming Torino shielded Deku's eyes.
Then an explosion happened as Kunio got afraid.
Torino pulled out something from the cauldron with big iron tweezers as the foam fell off the object reaveling a cake.
"Now let's see, what have we here".
Torino sat it down on a paper napkin as the dragon tried to eat it.
"Hey", said Torino whacking the dragon.
"A cake", asked Deku confused.
"You don't want it", asked Torino.
"Yes I want it", answered Deku.
"You're sure if I give this to my foster brother, it will change my fate"?
"Trust me, it'll do the trick", answered Torino.
Deku wrapped the cake in a napkin and walked out.
"Expect delivery of your purchase within a fortnight".
"Thank you", said Deku.
"Ooh, ooh, what was that thing about the spell again", asked Torino walking back in.
"Did you say something about the", asked Deku.
He turned around and saw that Torino was gone and he and Kunio were back at the stone circle.
"The spell".
