Y/n pov
After a few days in the hospital i was finally released after they said i was ok. I sigh why does it always have to be me that gets hurt i say to myself. Im laying on my bed thinking to myself as im starring out the window.
Why is life so hard on me!! I yelled.
As i sigh again i hear a knock on my room door. Yes i asked are you ok i hear my little sister say. Im fine I said ok im just checking on you she says.
I sigh getting out of bed and heading down stairs i tell my parents that im going out on a walk and they said be careful. As im walking down the street to the park i see couples walking hand in hand.
I sigh i wish me and korra would do that i mumble to myself. As i get to the park i climb a tree and sit on a branch looking at the sky. I wish korra was here i mumble. Tears slowly fell from my eyes as i close them.
Wiping my eyes with my long sleeve shirt as i hear my sister yelling my name. What's wrong i said as im climbing down the tree but i stepped on branch and it broke!! I yelp as i fall down the tree. Y/n i hear my sister yell. I close my eyes ready for the pain but i don't feel it all, i feel is arms catching me. My eyes are closed tightly but when i hear someone whispering in my ear asking me if im ok i blinked my eyes open to realize its korra.
Korra i mumbled . my eyes shinning with unsheathed tears. Im here i hear her whisper to me. Tears slowly feel down my face i cried in korra's chest as she rubs my head while whispering sweet words to me. Just as i was about to fall asleep in her arms she asked if i was ok. Yeah i whispered.
I buried my head in korra's neck mumbling. Y/n korra said. Yes? i asked do you want me to take you home? She asked yeah i said. I expected korra to put me down but she didn't. I can walk you know i said to her. I know but.... I want to carry you she mumbled blushing.
I blushed as she said that. As so as she gets to my front door she careful puts me down and backs away a little. So did you want to talk we both say at the same time. We both laughed. Did you want to come inside and talk i said. Um sure korra said.
As we go inside i tell my parents that me and korra are going to my room and my parent's smiled at me and said ok and they said my sister went to sleep over at a friends house.
As we get to my room i sit at my desk facing the window looking at the sky. So what did you want to talk about i asked korra. Bolin told me what mako did you the other day. My body froze as i hear her say mako. As we sat in silence i didn't know what to say to korra. What if she is mad at me for not telling her but im mad at her for not telling she was going to visit her parents at southern water tribe. As i was lost in my thought's i didn't hear korra get up and movie the chair so. she was standing infront of me. Y/n she said softly. I look up at korra as she stares down at me. Im sorry she said as her voice cracks. You don't have to be i said mumbling looking down at my hands.
Korra kneels down taking my hands in hers. Look at me she said softly, i look at her and she looks hurt and upset. I wrap my arms around korra's neck as i hear korra sniffle. Korra its fine im ok i said to her. Korra wraps her arms tightly around me, but what would have happened if he killed you? I wouldn't have been able to live with myself she said.
I look up and wipe korra's tears with my sweater sleeve. Korra i said i love you and i know i almost died but im ok and that's all that matters right now. I promise im ok korra. Promise she mumbled, i promise i whispered.
Korra grabs my hand and leads me to the bed. She lays down and pulls me down with her. I yelp as fall to the bed. Korra laughs pulling me closer to her and holding me tightly to her chest. She whispers I'll protect you no matter y/n. I know you will i said as i started to fall asleep. I love you y/n, i love you too korra i said as i fall asleep with korra's arms wrapped around me, making me feel safe.
