Chapter 10

I'm at home, sitting at my desk drawing away, remembering that my mom said that her friend was hiring and said i could work there.  Grabbing my stuff i head down stairs and tell my mom im leaving to her friends work place.  I walking down the street and i see my mom's friend as i greet her she tells me what ill be doing and how to do my job. 
You will be working as a stocker, all you have to do is restock  the products and when you're done you can help at the front, ok i said.  It only takes me a few hours to stock, i go to the front and stay behind the counter for the rest of my shift and i leave 4 hours later.
My mom's friend Linda locks the doors of the store and said she would drive me home because it dangerous at night. Agreeing, i say thank you as she pulls up to my house, as she says it's no problem at all. When i get inside i greet my parents and my mom said dinner is in the fridge, i thank her and take my food upstairs and eat. I sit at my desk staring out my window, i could see the temple from here i mumble to myself.
I started to draw again letting my imagination go wild, apparently i drew a heart with mine and korra's name inside with little hearts around the big hear. ( photo above of drawing)    i feel myself drifting off to sleep leaning against my arm, hoping that i don't pull any muscles  from sleeping like this.   

waking up i remembering that i slept at my desk, popping my bones in my body, knowing i won't sleep like that ever again; standing up and heading to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day, my mom yells that her friend had sent her my schedule to work and when i get off.  after I'm done i head down stairs to eat, and say bye to my my mom because dad's already at work, and I'm going to be late if i didn't leave now.  as i get to work , i see Linda at the cash registrar i wave hello before going to the back and getting started on working, she told me to mop the floor, make sure nothing has gone expired and to restock if i need to.  Working for about 7 hours she tells me i can and i asked if she needed any help closing up but said no, saying goodbye i call up a taxi and go home;  as soon as i get home, and  go straight for the telephone to call korra.   me and korra talk for  a while as i told her i started working at a store not far from my house, really? korra asked me. yeah, and I'll be going back to school, i want to get my degree in engineering and i want my own place too. why? she asked you can always live with me in the temple she said, laughing korra one day I'm going to want to live in my own house and not have to worry about people interrupting me while I'm working,  knowing korra,  she is probably pouting threw  the telephone which makes me laugh, stop laughing she said pouting more, i stop laughing and tell her i have the day off tomorrow, so are up to hanging out tomorrow i asked korra, of course ill pick you up saying ok and good night i hand up and go to bed. 

I'm sleeping on my side facing the wall, but something heavy jumps on me. I yelp realizing it was naga. I look toward the door and see korra smiling and waving at me.  I groan and turned around trying to go back to sleep mumbling I'm to tired, its to early i whined snuggling into my pillow. Korra chuckled at me and rubbed my back, kissing my cheek, and hugging me, i hug back nuzzling my head in her neck. I wanted to fall asleep right here and now, but korra picked me up bridal  style, and carried me to the bathroom. she gently placed me down and said you need to shower so we can hang out baby she said kissing the top of my head leaving me to get ready.  after getting ready, me and korra headed to the temple greeting tenzin family, we all eat lunch then me and korra go outside, walking around the temple for a while.  as the sun was setting we sat down by the water watching the sunset; i put my head on her shoulder and asked korra what she would do if she wasn't the avatar,  I'm not sure? maybe stayed with my parents, but then i wouldn't have met you she whispers in my ear, i blush, but smiled  when i remembered how we both met each other, as i was going to say something korra stopped me and stood up.  Just as i was going to ask whats wrong, i saw mako and he wasn't alone, apparently  he brought friends with me.  Am i going to die today?
