Chapter 7: Prom

It was the night of Prom. I was wearing a big blue strapless dress and my hair was down. Meghan was wearing a purple strapless dress and her hair was in a messy bun, and Mckaylee was wearing a red dress and her hair was in a pony-tail. We all looked stunning! When we got to Prom we were in awe. The gym looked beautiful. Meghan, Mckaylee and I sat down at a table. Tyler came up to me and said hi. He was wearing a suit with a blue tie. He looked so handsome. He sat down next to me and started a conversation. "Wow, this place looks amazing!" He said looking around the whole gym."Yeah." I said. "Hey, I gotta go use the restroom, I'll be right back." he said smiling then walking to the bathroom. As soon as Tyler was in the bathroom, Dawn and the rest of her posse came up to me. "Hey guys look! It's the boyfriend snatcher!" Said Dawn with the rest of them laughing. Dawn got up in my face and said "You are pretty brave to mess with my boyfriend! Back up or I'll make your life miserable!" Said Dawn as Mckaylee went up to Dawn. "Mckaylee, I got this." I said. "Hey bitch! Woof Woof!" I said as I punched Dawn in the face and I said "I'm tired of your bullshit Dawn. Go back to your home in hell." I said as I sat back down and Dawn walked away. "Wow Ally. You have learned the ways of assholeness." Mckaylee said smiling. "Thanks Mckaylee, you know what? That felt pretty good punching Dawn in the face." I said smiling with glee. "Hey I'm back" said Tyler. "Do you uh....wanna go dance?" Said Tyler rubbing the back of his neck blushing. "Sure!" I said as Tyler put his hand out in front of me to take me to the dance floor. Once we got to the dance floor they started playing a slow song. He grabbed my waist and we started dancing. This night so far was magical. As soon as the song was over he took me under the Eiffel Tower in the gym. "Ally, I have to tell you something." said Tyler. "What is it?" I said as he pulled me closer. "I love you. I always have. Even though our social levels in high school are different, I don't care" he said. "But what about Dawn?" I said. "Screw Dawn. The only thing I care about right now is you." he said as he pulled me close and kissed me. As soon as the kiss was over he said "Will you go out with me?" And gave me a rose. "Your the most beautiful girl in the world and I could never find anyone better than you. You're all I want." he said. We kissed again. It wasn't any ordinary kiss, the kiss was very passionate.
Epilogue:
Tyler and I have been dating for 6 weeks now and were so happy together. So far we've had 4 dates together. There's nothing more in life that I want. Dawn is now the laughing stock of 10th grade. I could never ask for anything more.
