My Knight In Black

Chapter 2

Dark's point of view:

I stared at Dusk. She's pregnant? I thought. How?!

I nearly fell over at the thought of another man being the father of her baby, but why was I feeling this way? It's not like she was my girlfriend!

"...Where's the father in all of this?" I asked, and Dusk didn't meet my eyes.

"He was killed by one of my knights for causing this. You see, my knights are very loyal, and it causes me a lot of danger having this child. With that in mind, all my knights are to get rid of any danger for me, but there is only a few things they can do in this case. Once finding out that I didn't truly love him, they set forth to kill him."

I was silent for a moment, thinking on the question of why she was coming to me. She barley knew me, and when I first met her I tried hitting on her. I didn't even know she would trust me like this.

"Alright. I'll do it."

She looked up at me with hopeful eyes. "Really?"

When I nodded, she tackled me in a hug, and we both laughed.

* An Hour Later *

Dusk's point of view:

"Just warning you, I don't know how Jeff will react to you being here." Dark said as we walked up the front steps of the Slender Mansion.

I nodded in understanding, holding onto one of my three bags tightly. Some of my knights had packed some of my things for me without letting me know, and I now had a backpack and two duffel bags worth of stuff. Dark had my duffel bags thrown over one of his
shoulders, since he refused to allow me to carry more than my backpack.

He opened the front door and called, "I'm home, and we have a guest!" He stepped inside, me close behind.

I saw Ben, Eyeless, and Jeff playing video games on the couch, Sally and Silver asking them if they could play.

Once Sally saw me, she ran towards me and hugged my legs. "Dusk! I missed you!"

At the sound of my name, Jeff's head snapped up, and our eyes locked. He had a look of pure anger on his face, and he pointed at me with a finger.

"Dark, why is this bi-"He quickly back pedaled once seeing Sally look up at him. "I mean witch, doing here in our home?"

"I'm protecting her for the next ten months." Dark answered, hiding the fact that I was pregnant.

"Ten months?! I have to deal with her for ten months?!"

"It's not my fault that I'm pregnant!" I yelled, throwing my hat at him.

"What!?" Ben, Eyeless, Silver, and Jeff said with wide eyes as Sally jumped up and down, clapping her hands, saying,"I'll have a play mate when they grow up!"

OMG, Sally is so innocent and cute! XD Anyways, I hope you liked the chapter. It'll get more exciting in the next chapter, I promise.
