I open the door to see an agitated looking police officer standing on my front porch.
"Hello." I say quietly.
"I am detective Holden. I am on the case of Alison Fulner. For 2 and a half years she has been missing from her house with her grandparents in California. We recently found out that she ran away to live with her twin sister named Daisy Fulner, is that you?"
"Yes" I reply.
"So I have reason to believe that she is in this house right now?"
"I..." I look down. How could this happen? I finally have a good life with everything I could have ever wanted, and now it's going to be taken away from me.
"I have a search warrant for this house so you're going to have to step aside miss."
Liam comes to the door.
"Is there a problem here?"
"I have been issued a search warrant for this house to find Alison Fulner. You are going to have to either step aside and tell me where Alison is, or I will go past you and find her myself."
Ali comes to the door. The detective looks at her an then back at me. He pulls out his hand cuffs.
"Alison Fulner, you are under arrest for under age travel across states, and lying to a police officer." He puts the cuffs on Ali and escorts her to the back seat of his police car. Detective Holden gets in the front seat, puts the key in the ignition and pulls away from the curb. Out the back window I can see Ali looking back at the porch with desperate eyes that have started to water and are now spilling over, and running down her face.
