BEEP! BEEP!
My alarm went off at 6:30am and i groaned. School. Really? The blow of waking up was softened by reading last night's text again. I smiled to myself.
"Stana! Are you up yet?!"
"Yes Mumma!"
I got up and put on some Taylor Swift on ITunes, while pulling my white shirt and school skirt off their hangers and putting them on. I mumbled under my breath when i noticed the fith button missing.
I stepped into the lit bathroom and washed my face, brushed my brown and red hair and flicked a bit of mascara on my long lashes before stepping out again and pulling on the blazer with the school embelem.
Before long my mum had left for work and i spent the last twenty minutes emptying the dishwasher and doing some more singing practice.
I walked across the muddy field with my headphones on, i took a look at the trees that embraced the field, it was January so the icy wind rustles the few leaves left and creeps behind my hair, down my neck. I shivered and pulled my hands into my sleeves. My phone buzzed.
FRED: Morning gorgeousI felt butterflies in my stomach, and although i didn't belive it, i replied positiveley.
STANA: Hey bae, wassup
FRED: The sky of course! xx
I laughed. Typical Fredrick to be so sarcasticc on a Tuesday morning.
STANA: Well duh! Howz life? xx
I arrived a the bus stop and waited in the queue of two others: a sleek brunette with bangs and a tall boy who was looking into the distance in front of him. A short blonde followed closely behind me and my best friend Samantha Pritchard, a blonde like the girl behind but taller. I stepped away and walked down the road towards her.
"SAM!"
"STAN!"
I walked over to her and we hugged and walked back up to the bus stop, where the bus was just arriving. We stepped on behind the three older students and sat on the aisle seats, me in front of Jim and Sam in front of Milly and Arden.
As per usual, Arden had her face in her book, she was quite like me really because we both shared a love for the same books and were 'fangirls' as we called them.
Milly was on her new iphone, talking to her mum because she forgot her ingredients for DT where we would be making bolognase sauce. I laughed and nodded 'hi' to Jim who was watching us carefully.
"Math homework?" he asked, smirking a little.
"Yes." I rolled my eyes and swung me legs around so i faced the middle, every day i got questioned about homework from this annoying boy every morning.
"But mum..." Milly moaned and put the phone down. "She can't get them..."
I laughed. "Oh Milz, you need to have your brain in your head, not your ass!"
Milly chuckled "Oh Redhead, if only i had a brain..."
I rolled my eyes again "You're lucky i've got spare ingredients"
She grins "Thanks"
"No problem"
My phone buzzed and i smiled, reading what Fred had sent me.
Jim raised his eyebrows. "Stana..? Is that Fred?"
I nodded. Sam made googly eyes. "Oooh who's that?"
Jim got there before me. "A guy that Stana's been talking with on Book Meet for a year"
"Jim!" I protested "Shut up!"
Everyone looked at me. "Okay! Okay! He's a guy... A Scottish one-"
Arden burst out with laughter and spoke in a mock Scottish accent. "A wee Scotty?"I rolled my eyes "Yes, and were going out-"
The girls squealed and Jim laughed. I just covered my ears.
"Ow! Guys shut up about it..."
That didn't work, they continued to ask me questions until the bus stopped at school and we got off and i ran ahead to the tutor room and leaned on the radiator, chatting to Emma; A tiny girl in my tutor group with whispy blonde hair, before long, Maddy joined us and we talked for a while. Then Milly came in.
"STANA IS GOING OUT WITH A DUDE CALLED FRED!"
I facepalmed and before long, Maddy grabbed me by the shoulders. "OMG Why didn't you tell me?!"
I laughed. "Because you'll kill me if i text you at 3am!"
She released me. "True..."
