"Anyone down here?" Said a voice, obviously a man.
"Really?" said another, this was a woman, with a voice, drowned in sarcasm "They won't answer will they? They can't speak!"
I could feel her rolling her eyes, their torches shone around the room, echoing footsteps patted around randomly. I held Hillary closer and put a finger to my lips.
"These people are long gone" Said the man, who out of the crack, i could make out he was looking around the rug. "So i doubt they fired the gun"
"Well done sherlock..." Mumbled the woman, her voice still deep in sarcasm.
After a few more minutes, their footsteps were heard above us. They were leaving! When it had been silent for a few minutes, Alex crept out, pushing the board to the side. I also got away.
"Are they-"
I shushed Hillary and looked around and poked my head outside, the police car had left so i placed the rock back and sighed.
"They're gone"
All at once, Hillary, Fred and Kate got out of the hole. Freddie pushed me agaist the wall and kissed me, i kissed back and smiled. Pulling me closer he smiled back and stroked my hair. I pulled away.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
I laughed and lenaed against the wall, Hillary was unrolling the mat, looking for something and Kate talked to Alex and she smiled, he also.
Freddie turned to me "You got a plan?" I nodded.
"Guys! Gather round!"
Hillary stopped searching and came over, curious. Kate and Alex walked intrigued
"Stana has a plan, and belive me, she's good with those"
I laughed and stepped towards them.
"Okay so its 4:47pm now, i say we get something to eat, sleep and get ourselves ready, and sneak into your school and rescue some and then a few schools and rescue some smaller children and bring them down to Hapenmere, back in England, i have a safehouse there" I took a breath, they all seemed to be listening intently "And we ride them back on the train, then go to my school and get a load more, mine might be harder to get, they have like 80 people with guns"
I stepped baack and let them take in the information, Kate looked up at me.
"Let's do it."
After that, we spent the evening preparing. We went into the abandoned house, beside the alleyway and took some food and clothes. We diguised ourselves to look as adult as possible.
I did Kate and Hillary's makeup, Hillary needed more because she was so young, however Kate, even though she looked young, didn't take much at all.
I wore black skinny jeans, and a white blouse, my hair tied up in a high ponytail and sunglasses over my eyes. My feet were pushed into chunky black boots and I pulled a jacket over the top. Shoving my gun in my pocket, i grabbed the handbag i had full of food and supplies and walked bcak to the shelter.
I sat down and sighed, no one else had got back yet so i looked at my phone, i had one ne message, i gasped when i saw who'd texted me.
Maddy.
I opened the text, as fast as lightning.
MADDY: Stana! I hope you got there okay! They're making us work for them, they'e doing tests and needles and eating stuff and ahhh! Help us! Be careful-Maddy xx
Tears rolled down my cheeks, i replied to her quickly.
STANA: Maddy!!! I'm here with some others and we're coming to you tomorrow evening, be careful and don't do anything stupid-Stana xx
Fred stepped in, dressed in a polo shirt and jeans, he looked at me worried and came over.
"Stana? What's the matter?"
I didn't answer.
He pulled me onto his knee and hugged me gently. I hugged back and mumbled.
"Maddy, she said they were doing tests on them, that they had needles and-"
I couldn't speak anymore, and Fred just held me and stroked me hair silently. Kate came in behind Hillary and Alex, Hillary ran over and i wiped my eyes
