(A/N: I told y'all. #MaddieDiggsProtectionSquad. Y'all are gonna feel awful for calling her a whore, Potato221B .)

[Regular life]

Maddie sat her bag down after a long day on set. She looked up to see Daveed staring at her, his face practically stone. "Babe, you good?" she asked.

"No. I'm not good." he replied. "What happened to trust, loyalty, and faithfulness?" Maddie gave him a look of annoyance. "Daveed, what are you talking about?" she questioned. He glared, and if looks could kill, Maddie would be a goner.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. And where've you been? With your two lovers?" he taunted. Maddie pushed her bag away from her feet, walking over to him as he stood up. He was a few inches taller than her, but in this instance, that wouldn't matter. "What lovers?" she asked, a look of innocence on her face.

"I saw the damn article, Madison." he snarled. She jumped back in surprise. "What fucking article? And I didn't cheat on you!" she shouted back.

"Are DJ and Maris even my kids?!" he snapped. "Of course they are!" Maddie yelled back, suddenly very defensive.

Daveed ignored her and went upstairs, Maddie following him. "Are you on something?! 'Cause you sound really fucking stupid!" she shouted.

She entered their room to see him packing an overnight bag. She suddenly got worried, rushing over to him and yanking everything out. "Wh-where are you going?" she asked, her voice shaky and stuttering. "I'm spending the night somewhere. I want to come back to an empty house." Daveed replied.

"Daveed, no! What did I do?" she asked again. Her defensive demeanor was gone, leaving only anxiety behind.

He left the house without another word, despite Maddie calling his name and trying to stop him. He slammed the door so hard, that as she watched the car turn the corner, she heard the sounds of the babies crying. She went up to their room, trying to hold back her own tears.

She held Maris over her shoulder, DJ on her lap. She decided to call her co-star, McKayla Dawson. She didn't want to have her sister and Anthony tangled in this mess, both with a slight bias that could ruin their marriage.

The phone rang twice, then McKayla answered. "What's up, Diggs?" she said. That was it. Maddie shook with sobs. Her children still in her arms, she blubbered an explanation for her sudden change in emotion.

"DAVEED LEFT ME FOR CHEATING! I DIDN'T EVEN CHEAT! HE SAID HE WANTS ME GONE AND -" she was cut off by her own sobs.

McKayla was silent. Maddie began to fear that her friend officially hated her. "Oh shit." McKayla said. "What?" Maddie asked through her tears.

McKayla sent her an article (refer to ch. 72). As she read it, her eyes widened in horror. "How'd they find these pictures?!" she snapped, startling Maris, who bit her with her teethless gums.

"It looks like the media got leaked pictures from recent episodes we filmed." McKayla explained. "Fuck!" Maddie said, sitting both children in their cradles. She hung up on McKayla and called Daveed. Straight to voicemail. She tried again. Straight to voicemail. One last time. Another straight to voicemail.

"Shit." she muttered under her breath. She called McKayla back. "I tried to talk to him, explain it all. He's not answering."

"Okay. Wanna stay with me?" McKayla offered. Maddie answered immediately, "Yes, please."

An hour later, Maddie was passed out in the backseat of McKayla's car, the children in their carseats sleeping peacefully. Maddie however, was fitful, turning slightly and murmuring in her sleep. McKayla sighed, hoping that her stage-sister would recover quickly and fix her marriage.
