The last bell rang, telling everyone that the school day is finally done. Which means I can go home and sleep. To be honest, since second hour I've been dizzy and not feeling the best. I just can't wait for this day to be done.

I grabbed my things from my locker. I made sure that all my things are in my bag before I closed the door. I walked down the halls to the main doors. The moment the fresh air hit me like a wave, I started to feel even worse. I shook it off before I started to walk to my house. I looked at my mates as I walked down the side of the road by all the parked cars.

"Max watch out!" someone yelled. I looked ahead of me to see Gracie driving right at me. She was too close for me to move away, so I went down on the road and held my hands out. I closed my eyes shut, waiting for impact. I soon felt a liquid coming out of my nose. The sound of tires screaming. I opened my eyes to see the car just sitting there, the wheels turning. Gracie stopped the car. "What the hell." She said as she got out.

I sat down on the ground and took deep breaths, trying to calm down. I took my right hand and put it under my nose. I looked to see that my nose was bleeding. "Max, are you okay?" someone asked. Everyone started to crowd me. I got up from the ground. "Yeah, just I need space," I said. they didn't listen. They just kept on going close to me. "Please, get away," I said. They still didn't listen.

"I said get away!" I yelled. They all put their hands on their ears and moved away. I looked around the place. The windows of all the cars are broken and all over the place. I took a breath before I started to run away from everyone. I didn't stop until I was blocks away from the school.

I took deep breaths before I stopped walking. After a few breaths, I started to walk down the sidewalk. I wiped the blood so it wasn't under my nose anymore, but now it's on the wrap that is on my left hand. Someone then grabbed my hand and pulled me close. A hand was put over my mouth so I couldn't scream for help, even though I tried.

It just was muffled and quiet. He dragged me into an aisle. I kept on trying to scream, tears running down my face. He pushed me against a wall. Holding me in place. One of my marks started to burn, making me cry out more. I accepted that mate. "Hey!" A voice yelled. I looked over to see a man with white hair. He pulled the man away from me.

"Is that how you treat a lady?" he asked. "Chill man." the dude that held me up at the wall said. I slide down the wall as my mate pushed the man to the ground. I tried to take deep breaths to calm down, but it didn't help the most. "Calm down man. I'll go now." the other man said. He got up from the ground and raced away from us.

My mate got down on his knees in front of me. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" He asked as he put his hands on the sides of my face and wiped my tears with his thumbs. He looked down at my left hand. "You're bleeding. Here why don't you come with me and I can help you with that," he said.

I smiled at him. "It's fine, really. I had a nose bleed and I wiped it on the wrap, not thinking about how I will get blood on the wrap." I answered. "Alright, well, at least let me help you." He said. "I don't even know your name," I said. "My apologies. Blaine Debeers." He said as he held his hand out for me to shake. "Maxine Fuller," I said as I shook his hand. I could tell that he was my mate.

I let go of his hand right before he got up from his feet. He held his hand out for me again. I grabbed it. He pulled me to my feet, ending up a little too close to him. I let go of his hand and took a step away.

"Do you want me to drive you home?" he asked. "No, do not take me there," I said. "Alright, then. Where do you want to go my lovely mate?" He asked me. I looked down at the ground. "I  don't know. I don't have anywhere else." I said. "Alright, then. Um....how about you come to my place? You can stay there if you want and if you want...I can drive you to school tomorrow because I see your school backpack that is on your back." Blaine said.

"No, I..I can not go there. Not after what happened." I said. "Alright, come on. Let's get you away from here. Is that okay with you?" Blaine asked. I nodded my head and started to walk, Blaine at my side.

We only walked little ways before we walked up to a black sports car. Blaine opened the passenger door for me. I gave a small smile as I took my backpack off my back. I put it on the floor of the car before I climbed into the car. Blaine closed the door as I buckled in.

Blaine opened the driver's side. He opened the door and climbed in. "Are you sure you are okay?" He asked as he closed the driver's side door. "Yeah, I'll be okay," I said. He nodded his head as he started the car. I looked out of the window to see the sun setting behind a bunch of buildings. He drove away from the sidewalk and took off on the New York streets.
