"Hey Max," Alexis said. I smiled at her as I made my way to my friend group. Everyone is in graduation gowns. Today is the last day of high school. In a week it will be my first day of school at a gifted school here in New York. I took a breath as I walked over to them.
"This is so exciting," Alice said as she walked to my side. Even though this isn't their first time. I couldn't help but smile at my mates. We all sat down in our spots as we waited to get called up to the stage. The weather is amazing just for today. The sun is out and there are no clouds in the sky. I turned around and looked at the rest of my mates. I'm the happiest person alive. Nothing can take this feeling away from me.
