it was a rainy day, but tommy and i were sat under an umbrella that wilbur gave us.

speaking of wilbur, he was also stood outside. he was under the door frame so he couldn't get rained on as he drank his coffee.

"hey, do you guys see that? in the distance?" wilbur asked as tommy and i stared at the stars.

our hands remained together as we looked over where wilbur was pointing at.

"it's dream.." i whispered as tommy pushed me behind him.

"what does he want?" niki asked as she sat with her fox, fungi.

"we come for the negotiation!" dream yelled out as he came closer.

"we're not negotiating anything dream." wilbur stated.

"it's either this negotiation happens or it's war." dream states as wilbur looks back at us.

"what's your negotiation?"

"you hand over y/n to us and we don't go to war." he stated as tommy's hand gripped mines tighter.

"no way we're doing that." i said as tommy nodded.

"y/n is our friend, we're not letting her go!" tommy responded as wilbur shushed us.

"it's not your place to speak." wilbur said as he stared dream in his eyes.

"there's no way he's getting rid of me." i scoffed as tommy and i stared at each other.

"deal or no deal?" dream asked in an angry tone.

"no deal, right wilbur?" tommy and i asked in union.

wilbur looked me in my eyes with a somber look, "i'm sorry y/n, i'm sorry tommy." he stared at dream. "deal. get her off my land." he spoke as my heart dropped.

"no. there's no way. y/n is staying here with us."

"i told you tommy. it's not your place to speak." wilbur spoke in a cold tone.

tommy held onto me as i did too.

"tommy, i have to go.. we cant risk a war right now. i promise you that we're going to talk each day. one way or another. i'm sorry tommy. please forgive me." i said with tears in my eyes as he shook his head.

"no. don't say that. you're staying. y/n is going to stay. i don't care what it means. if it means war or not, she's staying." tommy said as our hands departed. i went to grab his hand before i felt someone else take me away.

i looked up to see a pink blur.

i saw tommy standing where i once was.

we were in the air. technos trident helped us get into the water quickly.

"we'll meet again one day." dream said with a nod as he turned around.

i saw a man with horns.

"finally i can speak. tommy. how are you? we took your little girlfriend away, didn't we?" he teased tommy as i wanted to punch him.

"she's not my girlfriend!" tommy spoke up as schlatt scoffed.

"we've seen you with her, listening to your stupid discs. plotting out new fucking towers. too bad you won't speak to her again until a new war, right?" he laughed as tommy shook his head.

"you're a messed up man schlatt. i'm taking my best friend back. both of them." he stated as we made eye contact.

i waved softly and so did he.
