When they finally got their food at lunch, Celine put a brave face on, told Kimberly to save her a spot at their table, and traipsed courageously--okay fine, stumbled nervously over to Natasha's table.

Hey, it was a pretty big feat for such an introverted person.

When she arrived at their table, she realized she hadn't exactly thought out this part of the plan. Sure, in her head, she had figured she would simply go up to Natasha and apologize, and that'd be it, but now that she was awkwardly standing behind her, she felt a bit shy. Busy talking to friends, the brunette wasn't paying her any attention, and Celine didn't really know what to do. So she squared her shoulders, steeled herself, and with great courage, timidly tapped on Natasha's shoulder.

Natasha turned around, and a smile burst onto her face. "Oh, hey. What's your name again?"

"Celine," the blonde whispered. "Um, I just--I just wanted to talk to you and say I'm sorr--"

"Hey guys! This is the girl that ran into me this morning, y'know? And spilled my coffee everywhere?"

Celine flinched, waiting for everyone to be angry and get mad at her. But that moment never came.

Instead, all the people at the table laughed, saying various things like, "Good job, dude" or "You totally deserved it, Nat" and a blue-haired girl even snickered, "I ship it", much to Celine's shock. All in all, it was definitely not the response she was expecting...but she kind of liked it.

Surprisingly, she even laughed a little bit. Granted, it was a nervous and frightened laugh, but it was still a laugh, and she wasn't laughing at herself, she was laughing with them. Odd.

"You know you're still buying me breakfast tomorrow, right?" Natasha asked, a smile playing on her reddish-purple lips. "Because you better show up."

"Right," Celine confirmed, her voice quiet from shyness. "Right," she repeated louder. "When do you want me to be there, Natasha?"

"Seven thirty." Natasha grinned widely. "And just call me Nat, alright?"

"Okay...Nat. I'll be there."

"It's a date."

When she went back to her table, Kimberly asked, "So? How'd it go?"

Celine furrowed her brows. "It was..." She suddenly smiled. "It was good."

When she left lunch to go to history class that day, Celine couldn't stop smiling. For some reason, her encounter with Natasha—er, Nat—had made her jubilant. Even when she walked into history, knowing she was about to take a test, her grin didn't fade. In fact, she was beaming so much that her teacher, Mr. Rumples smiled at her and asked, "What's gotten you into a good mood, Ms. Evans?"

Celine thought for a moment. "It's nothing, Mr. Rumples," she finally responded, her face still glowing with happiness. "Just nothing."
