I had never been scared as a child.
I guess I didn't understand the concept of danger.
I was okay with that though. But others weren't. I frequently got into fights and had to go to the hospital a couple of times. I met the man in the woods he cam...
I awoke to pitch black eyes staring at me. I didn't react simply just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. I knew it wasn't going to work I just wanted to piss him off. Pissing him off worked because he grabbed my shoulders and turned me back around.
I was tempted to do it again but stopped when I heard a caw. Sydney was at the window tapping her beak on the glass. What a smart bird.
I got up went to the cupboards and grabbed Saltines crackers. I went back to my room and opened the window she flew inside and landed on my shoulder. I held the cracker out and she lightly nipped at it before taking it and flying to my bed. She finished the cracker but made no progress to move.
She got up suddenly and cawed towards the window. A couple of noises were heard before a big shadow like creature slowly moved in the apartment.

He whimpered softly but walked over to Sydney. Ej pushed me back and growled. I don't know why it was just a big ole baby.
I pushed his arm away and cooed at the big creature.
"Aww your just a big baby aren't you. Are you hurt?"
It whimpered and held out its paw. Little thorns were stuck in his big paw. I gently rubbed the inside before going to the bathroom. I grab some pliers and bandages before coming back. I grabbed his paw and seated it on my lap.
He whimpered and howled the whole time.
"Its okay. Its okay. Your a big guy right. Your doing just fine"
When I was done I wrapped it in bandages and kissed it.
"All better see?"
It inspected its paw before letting out a more than joyously howl. It picked me up and licked me. It put me down and Ej grabbed me. He held me to the wall and held his body against mine. Then he turned me around and did the same for my backside.
'God what a simp'
When he was done with whatever that was I walked towards Sydney. She was curled up on the big baby's hand. I should probably name it so I don't just call it big baby.
"Now are you male or female, bud?"
"Its a male"
I looked at Ej and asked why.
"Because he hasn't left. Usually females leave to go and find a mate or tend to their young"
It growled and let out a high pitch howl.
"I don't think its a guy"
"Then where's its mate"
And then I pointed at Sydney. I mean Sydney hadn't mated either not that I know of so it makes since. Also the way the big baby was puffing and trying to do tricks shows that shes trying to impress her.
"You can't mate with things that aren't your kind"
"Yes you can. If its love you can do lot of things"
"There also the same gender. They cant have babies with each other"
"Thats if they want babies. And thats for them to figure out"
And so I went closer to them.
"Now whats your name"
A low growl was heard.
"She said, Αμαίλα or Amaila in English"
"Amaila what a pretty name"

Amaila looked at Sydney and puffed her chest out.
"Wait, you can understand her"
"Yeah shes a demon, i'm a demon it makes since that I could understand her"
"But you couldn't tell if she was a girl"
"Because gender isn't really an issue. Demons can mate with the same gender. That bird isn't a demon they can't mate. Maybe if one was a guy something could happen"
And I left it at that. Maybe I should go over my demon books again. Ehhh maybe not thats to much work. I have to go to work anyways.
I work at a vet pretty fitting since I am good with animals. You know I think I want butterflies. There are so many of them with different colors. I can't believe I didn't tell you guys this yet. Maybe it's because I'm forgetful or maybe it's because the author doesn't know where this story is going and is just winging it.(╥﹏╥) srry)
"Oh yeah Ej I have to get to work"

Despite what he said yesterday he allowed me to go. I would have gone anyways so it didn't really matter. My outfit was basic but not too basic. You know what, I mean of course you do your me.
Anyways i had yellow nirvana socks and a crop top that said love was love. I had baggy pants with pockets on the side. Honestly I think I looked hot. I came to my snakes cages and feed them. Poor babies were probably starving.
I went to the kitchen and looked for Grinny. He was behind a chair sitting. I grabbed his leash and picked him up slowly. I carefully put him on the leash before bringing him down to the floor. He let out a gurgle and walked towards the door. I quickly followed behind and opened the door before closing and locking it.
Grinny was unique. Everyone saw him differently. But that just made him the coolest.
Making our way to the vet I came across Tim. He looked at Grinny weirdly before turning around and going to his house. There was no telling what he saw. As we neared the vet I couldn't help but wonder.
'What game did I when what do they mean'
I guess I would have to wait and see. But did I really want to see. Probably not.
God I hated the waiting game you never know whats going to happen. But this was my fate and there wasn't anything I could do.
