Give Love a Second Chance [Lisa X Miyeon]

A Chipmunk, A Monkey, and A Chicken

Another sleepless night for Lisa. It's been a few days since meeting Miyeon at the park and she still hadn't contacted her. Lisa didn't want to bother Miyeon with her issues, although Miyeon said she could if she wanted, but Lisa just didn't know how to say what she wanted to.

She still wasn't on talking terms with her members as well. Lisa was basically always in her room if she didn't have anything to do, she tried avoiding the girls as much as possible. Of course she still greeted them if she saw them but there was no actual conversation going on in the Blackpink household.

Part of Lisa thinks she's being childish about the situation but the other part of her was just hurt, hurt that her members didn't let her in on Jennie's secret relationship. She would have been hurt, yes, but she was a member of this group as well, and she deserves to know what's going on with any of her members.

She picked up her phone and looked at the time.

1:39 AM.

Lisa sighed and put her phone back in the nightstand, turning on her side and closing her eyes, hoping that she could fall asleep soon.

A few minutes later, there was a soft knock on her door, if Lisa were asleep she probably wouldn't have heard it, but she was awake, so she opened her eyes and got up, going to the door.

"Who is it?" Lisa asked, putting a hand on the doorknob.

"It's me, Lis." The voice on the other side replied. "Can I please come in?"

Lisa sighed, it was Chaeyoung. She slowly opened the door, revealing her best friend.

"Woah, I didn't actually think you would open the door for me." Chaeyoung stated, a look of surprise on her face.

Lisa sighed and walked to her bed, letting Chaeyoung step into her room and close the door behind her. "It's not like I could avoid you girls forever."

The Aussie sat next to Lisa and looked down at her hands that were clasped in her lap. "Lisa, me and Jisoo are sorry we kept Jennie's secret from you. We just thought we were protecting you. But I guess that kind of backfired." She mumbled the last part.

Lisa glanced at Chaeyoung and slightly nodded. "I should be apologizing as well. I shouldn't have given you girls a chance to explain. I was just so upset that I had to find out Jennie's dating news late. We're a team, we should be able to share anything with each other."

"Even if it hurts you?"

"It would've happened eventually, Chaeng. It's inevitable. Either way I still would've been hurt." Lisa explained. "But I can't stay mad at you girls all the time. Besides," she smiled slightly, "I can't resist your cute faces for long."

Chaeyoung chuckled as she playfully nudged Lisa with her shoulder. "That's the Lisa I know and love."

Lisa gave a smile. "I know I haven't been the same the past few days but it's just hard," she sighed. "Being so close to Jennie. It hurts to see her but at the same time, it makes me happy. You know?"

Chaeyoung nodded. "Yeah, it makes sense. Are you planning on moving on? Are you going to fight for her?"

Lisa shrugged, "I can't fight for her, Chipmunk. She doesn't love me that way, and I can't force her to. I know it'll take some time for me to heal and move on, but trust me, I think I can do it."

Chaeyoung smiled.

Lisa looked at her best friend with furrowed eyebrows. "Good to know my misery amuses you."

The Aussie laughed quietly and shook her head. "I'm not smiling because of that, stupid. You called me Chipmunk!"

"You're so weird."

Chaeyoung stuck her tongue out. "You still love me! Anyways," she patted Lisa's back. "Just do what you think is right, I know Jisoo and I will definitely support you."

"Thanks, Chaeng-ah."

"This isn't the only thing I wanted to talk to you about." She said, looking at Lisa with serious eyes.

Lisa leaned back a little, taken a back at the sudden change in atmosphere. "Wh-what?"

"Why were you smiling at your phone the other day, Monkey?" Chaeyoung asked with a playful tone in her voice, a teasing smirk spread across her lips.

"Yeah, Nalalisa." Came a voice from the door, making Lisa and Chaeyoung jump slightly at the unexpected sound.

"Yah! Unnie! You're intruding in private business." Chaeyoung yelled.

"Shh! You don't want to wake up Jennie, do you?" Jisoo stepped inside and closed the door behind her. "I heard laughter and I wanted to see what was up."

"How did you even open the door with out us noticing?" Lisa asked.

Jisoo smirked as she sat in the other side of Lisa. "I'm a ninja, remember? Anyways stop stalling, answer the question!"

"I know this is gonna sound hypocritical of me, but you can't tell Jennie about this." Lisa started. She sighed. "When I was taking a walk through the park, I ran into Miyeon unnie. We talked for a bit and she said that she misses us. I even got her number."

Chaeyoung and Jisoo gasped in surprise.

"Really? I mean we miss her too, but Lis..." Chaeyoung trailed off.

"You better hope YG doesn't find out about this. To this day I still don't know why he won't allow us to interact with her." Jisoo stated.

"I want to tell Jennie but I don't know if I can bring myself to. It's hard..."

"Do you want us to tell her?" Jisoo asked.

"No, I'd rather do it myself, when I can finally look at her without bursting into tears, I'll tell her."

Jisoo and Chaeyoung hugged Lisa.

"Come on, Lis. Let's go to sleep."

"Can you two stay and sleep with me? It's been awhile since we did this." Lisa asked.

"Anything for our Monkey." Jisoo giggled and kissed Lisa's left cheek while Chaeyoung kissed the other one. They fixed themselves on Lisa's bed. The maknae was in the middle while Jisoo and Chaeyoung were on either side of her.

Lisa fell asleep within seconds, feeling a weight lifting off her chest, she finally felt like she could breathe again. She had two of her three members with her, but she wondered how long it would take for Jennie to come around.

Jisoo and Chaeyoung tightened their hold on Lisa, almost as if protecting her, which they both silently promised they would do from now on.
