She told me about BTS. How they conquered America. I didn't hate BTS but I definitely didn't love them either. I had only listened to Fake Love and loved it. She told me that I should listen to more of their music. I really didn't want to. I was so used to Blackpink. A girl group that did mostly upbeat songs.
She kept insisting that I should try them out and that I should give it a chance. I really liked Fake Love so there is a high chance that I will like their other songs.
One side of my brain was telling me that I shouldn't. But the other side of my brain was telling me that I really liked Blackpink, so why wouldn't I like BTS? So I took the first step. I told my friend that I was willing to watch a Meet BTS video with facts about them and some of their songs. I wrote everything down on a piece of paper.
The next day, I showed her what I learned. She asked me who I thought was the best looking in BTS. I hadn't gotten the names and faces memorized yet so I said Jungkook when I actually meant Jin haha. I continued watching their music videos. I really enjoyed them. I kind of forgot about them for a while after that.
