Back To The Beginning

Jessie and James spoke very little as they wandered through the forest, trying to find a good camping spot.
"What happens if we can't find Meowth?" James thought out loud as they scanned a spot in the woods.
"WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT!?" Jessie yelled at James, but when she saw the look in his eyes she softened her voice, "I... I don't know James."
James smiled as Jessie turned her back to him and they began to unpack their belongings in the clearing. "Jessie," he asked quietly.
"What?" Jessie's expression showed that she wished Meowth was here, that everything was back to how it was.
"Let's talk, about something, about anything...." James said as he lay a blanket on the ground.
Jessie smiled and sat down next to James, "ok, what shall we talk about?"
"Do you remember all the fun times we had together?" James asked
"Yea, being 'blasted off again' and spending time with you and Meowth trying to get the twerps Pikachu. Fun times!" Jessie responded happily.
"Will those end after tonight?"
"What do you mean?"
"If we never find Meowth we won't be Team Rocket any more, and Giovanni is sure to have our uniforms taken from us!" James explained.
"Well," Jessie paused, "Hopefully that never happens."
James smiled and looked around as he heard a noise coming from the bushes. "Whose there?"
Suddenly something leapt from the darkness and on to James....
