Meliodas's POV:

I watched in horror as the creature continued to penetrate it's long sharp claws on Asher's back.

" Don't just stand there you coward! " Jeff yelled as I snapped out of it.

I then immediately unsheathed my sword and advance towards the monster at my best speed in an attempt to engage a close combat. I swung my sword as it let go of Asher.
The monster hissed at me as it showed it's sharp teeth. The monster was about to attack me when all of a sudden, a  fireball flew on the monster's face as it made a very sinister screech and ran away. I turned around to see who casted the fireball, it was Ice. She's holding a book in her hand as she gave me a smile, it was like she was mocking me. 𝑇𝑠𝑘, 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑒.

I lowered my sword and immediately ran towards Asher.
" Are you okay? " I asked her as I held her hand but instead of giving me thanks or a proper response, she glared at me.

" Do I look okay to you?! Of course I'm not okay! You idiot. " She yelled, that made Jeff and Ice burst into laughter.

Back to third person's pov:

Jeff and Ice mockingly laughed at Meliodas.  Meliodas glared at them as he the walked towards Jeff and he grabbed Jeff's shirt, demanding him to stop laughing.
" What are you gonna do huh mate? Punch me? Go ahead. " Jeff said as he teasingly smirked.

Meliodas clenched his fist as he
was about to punch jeff in the face, when Asher yelled at them to stop.

" Stop it you morons! Why don't you just help me here instead of fighting over nonsense things! " Asher said with a serious face and annoyed tone in her voice.

Asher's pov:

'𝐺𝑒𝑒𝑧! 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑠! 𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑑𝑜 𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑔𝑢𝑦𝑠! 𝑇𝑠𝑘. '
I rolled my eyes. Just by thinking about how long do I have to stay with these morons made me so frustrated and annoyed.

'𝐶𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝐼'𝑚 𝑖𝑛 𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑤?! 𝐺𝑒𝑒𝑧! 𝐼𝑑𝑖𝑜𝑡𝑠.' I looked at Ice and she looked back at me and smiled.

'𝑊𝑜𝑎ℎ 𝑠ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑐𝑢𝑡𝑒... '
I just stared at her, she walked towards me and kneeled down as she held my hand. She recited some words, perhaps it was some ancient language for mages because I couldn't understand even a single word she said. The pain in my back was gone,
' 𝑆𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑐 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑢ℎ.'
She sat down beside me.

" That should be okay, for now. " She said as she pulled out a book from her small bag and read it.
I shyly scratched my nape.
" Thanks. " I said.
