DEAR ENEMY: PART 2

Chapter 02

Two days later

Appa informed me yesterday about my interview timings. I was gonna leave half an hour before but apparently the office is one and a half hour away from our house. I had to rush because of it.

I walked with faster pace towards the receptionist's desk. She looked shocked at first, Of course she would not expect me here.

"How may I help you madam?" She asked me politely not looking into my eyes rather staring widely at the computer screen. She is gonna get some huge specs.

"Which floor is the CEO's office?" I asked her. "Which company madam?" She asked in return.

"How many companies are there in this building?" My thought just slipped through my tongue. I have only been to Appa's company and he apparently owns the whole building so I guessed taht every company has it

"There are two companies madam. One is KC company and other is KTH. Which one do you want to go?" She said.

"KTH company. " I replied back immediately as I was in rush. "30th floor madam. Elevator is that way." She said and pointed towards right side.

" Thanks a lot." I said and left immediately without even waiting for her 'welcome.' I ran as fast as I could and pushed myself in the crowd of people that were saturated with people in formals.

I was at the edge of the elevator so I presses the button. I could hear some whisperings here and there. They must have recognised me. I rolled my eyes in my mind because I could hear all the gossips that were passing down from one human to another.

I got down at the 30th floor along with some other employees who were still gossiping while passing by. I want scream out loud 'SHUT UP, I CAN HEAR YOU!'

I checked in on another receptionist's table and she led me to the way towards the CEO's office.

The door to the CEO's office opened when the receptionist woman slide the card across the lock. The man immediately turned around as soon as he heard the sound of door being clicked opened.

I was shocked to see him. I thought I may not know the person whom I am working with him but he is like my father. He is Uncle Kim. I was happy to see him as well as sad because I may encounter 'him' as well if I work alongside uncle.

"Good Morning Hyerin." He greeted me. He looked extremely happy on seeing me.

"Good Morning Uncle." I greeted him back with a huge smile plastered across my face

"Lets talk about work straight. I am not going to take your interview instead the director will. You will be assisting him so he personally requested me to take your interview instead of him. His office is right across mine. You may leave now because he does not like people being late." He said. This director sounds more like a CEO. I wonder who is he.

"Thank you Uncle. Goodbye." I said and immediately left his office.

At the director's office

I stepped in the Director's office. There was no one sitting at the desk when I heard the sound of gushing water. I sighed in relief. He must be emptying his contents. I waited for a minute while sighing thinking about working with some old geek for almost an year. The supposed old geek came out of the washroom . I was stunned and so was he. He was not an old geek but my old lover!!!
