Missed Connection

Chapter 3

Kian's PoV

"Wanna turn on some music?" I ask Ricky. "Yeah sure." He flips threw the channels until he finds a song we both like. We start to hum to the song, but then we start to sing to it. Ricky sounds really good, but I sound like complete crap. I continue to sing even though i'm certain I'm getting on Ricky's nerve.

"No offence Kian but you sound like a dieing animal. And I don't exactly thing dieing animals sound good." Says Ricky. I have to admit, as much as I don't want to admit it, I sound really bad. But I continue on with my singing.

"KIAN THAT MEANS SHUTUP." Yells Ricky. I know his tone doesn't mean he is actually mad at me. He just wants me to shut up. "Fine fine fine." I say. We continue our drive home with just the music.

Jc's PoV

I wake up with Jenn still sleeping next to me. I must have fallen asleep to because I'm so tired. I don't get up because I don't wanna startle Jenn. Instead I get on my phone and get on Twitter. I tweet @jccaylen- About to film some collabs with @jennxpenn! I tweet that then put my phone on the floor. I already hear it buzzing like crazy so I pick it right back up. I scroll threw the comments on the tweet I just posted and see stuff like, "Omg im so excited" "They would be a really cute couple!" and someone even made up the hashtag "#Jcpenny!" That is a really cute ship name though. I wonder if I should tell Jenn about it... well no I shouldn't. She thinks we are just gonna film as friends, and I mean so do I but, I push the thought out of my mind.

After a while I have to go to the bathroom so I slowly get up, trying not to wake Jenn up. I remove the blanket from myself and lay the rest on Jenn. Then I get up as slowly as possible. I move in a slow motion manner so Jenn won't wake up. Obviosly I end up failing like always and Jenn's eyes flutter open. "What- where?" Jenn mumbles. She looks around the room until her eyes focus on me. "Jc?" she asks. "Yes Jenn?" I ask her. Maybe she forgot what was happening.

"What am I doing here?" she asks with a stern look on her face. "Your in the o2l house," I answer. Yep she defiently forgot what she was doing here. "Why?" she asks. "Well um we were gonna film a video but the camera and lights were in Kian's room and its locked so we watching a movie and fell asleep," I say. "Oh," is all she says. "Well are they home yet?" she asks. "No but they should be close." Jenn gets up and walks to the kitchen. "I'm hungry," she says. "Okay, want me to order some pizza?" I ask. "Yeah that'd be good."

She walks back to the couch and turns the tv back on. She flips threw the channels then turns on Netflix. "Wanna watch somethin'?" she asks me. I don't wanna end up falling asleep again but I say yes just to make her happy. I mean-because I have nothing else to do.

"She turns on 'Orange Is The New Black' and we sit and watch it waiting for the pizza. She laughs threw almost the whole episode and I just can't but help staring at her. She has the nicest smile and the cutest laugh. I don't like her, she just has really nice qualities. Thats all.

She almost falls asleep again but I wake her up every time she does. I feel bad but I don't want her to sleep, we have a video to make.

About 20 minutes later Kian and Ricky are back.

"Hey we're back!" yells Ricky. I jump up and run to Kian. "Kian! I need you to get the lights out of your room ASAP!" I shout. "Okay geeze Jc! I'll get them in a second let me put the food away."

"Kian I need you to do it NOW!" I yell this time. Jenn walks in and asks whats wrong. "Nothing. I just need Kian to get the lights." I shove Kian messaging him to get the lights. "Okay! Okay! I'll get them."

"Good," I say. Theres a knock at the door so I dash towards it. I open it up and the pizza guy is there. "Hello?" I ask. "Yes I have an order for Jc Caylen?" asks the pizza guy. I read his tag and it reads 'Josh'. "Yep thats me," I say. "Alright here is your order and the total will be $16.76 please," says Josh. I give him the needed amount, take the pizza, and shut the door and thank him. I walk back to the kitchen with the pizza in my hands. "Pizza man is here," I say. "Pizza man sure does look like Jc Caylen," she says. She takes a slice of pizza from the box and then plops onto the couch. "We should eat quickly so that we won't be up all not filiming," she says. She has a good point. "Okay, I'm almost done anyways." I lie.

About 20 minutes later we have the camera and lights all set up. "Do you want to do the video for your channel or my channel first?" I ask. "We already have your camera on the tripod so lets just do your video first," she says. I set a bench up for us to sit on in front of the camera and position the camera to focus on us.

"Ready when you are, Jenn," I say. "Okay," she says. She runs to the bench and sits down. "Ready?" I ask. "Yeah," she says. I press the 'record' button, sit back down, and I immediently tense up. And from the look on her face, she does too.

Hey guys! Sorry I havn't been updating! ;[ School has been pretty tough and I have had ZERO inspiration for what I want to write. I had writers block in other words. I am not even close to done with this book so dont think im finishing up BECAUSE I AM NOT! I have some pretty great things ahead with this book! Anyways I write at least 50 words a day maybe. So the next chapter may be up in a while too.... IDK YET OK. Anyway I hope you like my book! byeeeeee.
