chapter 7 - Metro

A/N: Ok I'm back-

Y/N POV:

"So, where are we going?" Haya asked.

"Well, I located a certain place for us which is close to us, though we will have to use the metro" Puffin explained.

"Why can't we just live in the houses though?" I asked pointing at one.

"This place is full of infected, it ain't safe here!" Puffin replied.

I sighed as we entered the metro. We walked down the steps and towards the train.

"Alright, where will we head after this ride?" I asked.

"We'll have to cross the carnival and then walk a few miles" Puffin said.

"Hold on, the train is locked." Haya said.

"What? How?" I asked.

"There's a keypad on the side of the train, I think we need a code" Haya explained

"Well, let's look for it" Puffin said.

"It's quicker if we split up, this place isn't really big" I pointed out.

"You really think we're gonna leave you alone after what happened in the hospital?" Haya folded her arms.

"Come on! It wasn't that bad" I scoffed.

They both glared daggers at me.

"We don't trust you, we all are going together in a group" Puffin said.

"Y'all are no fun, it was just one time anyways" I pouted.

Puffin walked towards a bench and picked something up.

"How bout this, you keep a weapon with you, to protect yourself, Alright?" Puffin groaned.

"Puffin, you really trust them being all alone?" Haya exclaimed.

"Just let them do whatever, I don't want to argue, besides, the quicker we find it the better" Puffin muttered as he walked away.

"Alright,time to beat some people" I said proudly as I walked off.

I looked inside a room and saw a carrot laying on the ground.

I picked it up and turned it a little, seeing blood on it.

I heard something thud behind me and I turned around.

Scanning the room, there weren't any sign of infected.

I sighed and put the carrot in my pocket.I looked down and picked up a blue keycard.

This should be useful.

I looked around before finding the area to use the keycard, I swiped it on the card swipe and it opened.

I found a paper with a few numbers and I smiled.

"I think I found it" I said to myself.

I skipped to the train and was about to enter the code when I heard something to the left.

I quickly turned and looked around, but nobody was there.

"Come out there, whoever you are!" I shouted, gripping tighter to my bat.

From the shadow, a dark shadow figure popped up. It's body resembled a rabbit-ish human.

"Sorry, did I disturb you?" She squeaked.

"Oh, no not really." I whispered.

It flew closer to my and took the carrot from my pocket.

"I was trying to find This, was the last carrot I used before turning into one" She smiled.

"Turn?" I asked.

"Yeah, when the infection broke out I got attacked by a fox, after a while got turned into them, but not the ones now" She said.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"The names Bunny, What about yours?" Bunny replied.

"My name is Y/N" I smiled.

"Nice meeting you, so, what're you doing?" Bunny questioned.

"Oh, getting this train working, I just need to put on a code" I explained.

I entered the code and the doors on the train opened.

"Haya! Puffin!" I shouted.

"Who are they?" Bunny asked.

"My friends" I answered.

"Just be careful, in the carnival" Bunny warned.

"Why so?" I asked, but never heard a response.I turned around to check where Bunny went.

"Y/N! Is something the matter?" Haya huffed.

"Oh...No, I just got the train working" I said.

"Oh, good, let's go then" Puffin groaned.

"You alright?" I asked.

"No, not very fond of trains" Puffin explained.

We all went in the train and the doors closed.
