chapter 8 - Sweet carnival

Y/N POV:

"So if we go pass this place, there will be a safe place within at least?" I asked.

"Within 4 miles" Puffin finished.

"But that's so long! It's gonna be like forever!" Haya complained.

"I mean, if you want to stay out with some simps, you can stay here" Puffin smiled.

I giggled at the word simp, it's so accurate.

"Y/N! It's not funny" Haya pouted.

"Sorry, but the word simp just sounds so accurate ,plus I haven't heard of it in a long time" I wheezed.

We entered in the carnival, it still looks the same.

"So, where is the exit?" I asked Puffin.

He squinted and groaned.

"It's over there, but it seems like that someone borded it up and locked it" Puffin pointed.

"These simps are smart" I muttered.

I looked at the left and picked up a blue key.

"So we gotta do a puzzle in order to get it open?" Haya asked.

"Looks like it"I sighed.

A thought came to my mind and quickly turned to the others.

"Wasn't there a clown here?" I asked.

"You mean Clowny? He performed in the carnival for about 6 years" Haya explained.

"So doesn't that mean he's gonna be here, but more crazy!?" I panicked.
I don't really like clowns.

"Relax, you can defend yourself or run away from him, it won't be bad" Haya smiled, putting her hand on my shoulder.

I inhaled and looked at her.

"Alright"

"We should split up again" Puffin said.We all nodded and went in different directions.

I walked past a cage and saw someone in it.

I walked to the cage and looked inside, the fox creature curled up in the corner.

His fur was now pink and he was sleeping.I looked at the note on the ground.

"Why did my friends leave me in here?..."

I teared up at the sight of the note and sighed.

I'll get you out

I walked to a gate with a blue padlock and opened it.

I walked to the safe and took a green key next to it.

I ran past the cage again and unlocked a room with a green lock.

I Grabbed a red key and a plank, as I turned around, Clowny tackled me and pinned me to the ground.

I tried to kick him but his grip became tighter.

I tried to scream but he covered my mouth with his hand.

I bit his hand and he let go of me, I Grabbed the red key only and ran out of the room.

I looked behind me and Clowny was just behind my heels.

I saw Haya at a further distant and shouted.

"Y/N WHY YOU RUNNING TO ME" Haya shouted.

"DO SOMETHING" I Exclaimed.

She looked around her and grabbed a chair. (Wait what)

I ducked and she threw it at his face.

"How the hell did that work?" Haya asked.

"Just Run!" I shouted.

I ran back and grabbed my bat.

This is going to be a pain

-Time skip-

I walked up to the cage and unlocked the orange padlock.

I looked inside and the fox was still sleeping.

I tip toed to the other side of the corner and grabbed the white key.

I looked back and the fox was still sleeping.

I sighed and went to the exit.

"The exit is open!" I shouted.

Soon Puffin and Haya came running towards me.

"What happened to Clowny?" I asked.

"We trapped him in a room" Puffin smiled.

I shrugged and looked at the exit,there was a broken wall that lead to the other side of the carnival.

"I don't wanna walk" Haya groaned.

I smiled as we went through the crack.

I looked at the hole and then to them.
I blushed by just thinking of them, how cute! No wait, What happened?

I looked at my paw and my tail, which were all pink.

I frowned as I remembered.I then looked back at them 3.
