Interrupting my thought I got a text from my boyfriend, Luke, it was a picture of flowers by our apartment door that he picked up this morning before he went to work for when my shift is over. Luke trys really hard to make me happy. He doesn't have a lot of money but the money he does have he spends it on me. And don't get me wrong I love him, hes my everything. He's been with me through my worst but I wished he would be his own person. Like he is dependent on me,he worships me. we can be a couple and each be our own people aswell. But that will pass. We'll get married, our careers will take off, we will have kids and everything will balence out. I really like him and i want to be with him forever. "hey you, off your phone its time for rounds" My resident yells to me as I jog to catch up with the group. During rounds I can't keep my eyes off of Arizona. She smiles the whole time and answers in her cheery voice. I can tell she's nervous, especially when she has to speak to our resident or the cheif, it's cute like she's the shy kid in the class that everyone likes because she isn't bothering anyone. When rounds end were all in the basement sitting straight up on the beds eating our quick lunch. We all know we're going to have to be up on our feet at any moment. Arizona rests her head on my shoulder and asks me for one of my fries. i feed it to her as she giggles and the fry falls out of her mouth. Her laugh struck me. i've never felt this way about someone and i don't know what it is. She makes me the happiest person i've ever been and I only met her yesterday. I stroke her hair as she starts to fall asleep wondering if she feels this way about me but of course, soon after we get paged and all jump up and rush to the ER.
