Sneaking Out

It was late at night and miss Perinsgon knew exactly what she wanted to do. She quietly stood up and started walking downstairs. She was about to enter the common room when she saw Percy Weasley sitting on the couch next to the warm fire, she knew the minute her foot would touch the floor she would be discovered. Instead of going back to bed, she waited. Maybe, Percy would leave the room and so she could get out. After a while as she was about to go back in her bed, when somebody suddenly tapped her head 3 times. She jumped out of fear but remained silent and then she saw her familiar face, her good friend Fred, he was smiling, he knew precisely why she was out of bed:

« - Hello there, going to see that boy of yours, are you? He smirked.

- I don't know what you mean, she replied.

- Oh well I guess you don't need my help going out without getting caught, he whispered before heading back to his dorm.

- Wait! Fred! You know how to get out without Percy noticing? Tell me! She promptly said.

- I don't see why, he looked at her with that certain smile on his face, he knew all too well what was going on.

- Fine! I wanted to see Cedric, he's out in the castle tonight, please Freddie could you help me?

- Of course! Fred quickly said. But how are you going to find him anyway?

- Oh boy I don't know, I haven't thought of that.

- And what about if you don't find him? You're going to come back? And then what do you think will happen, Percy is gonna be there. You're screwed, except if...

- Except if what Fred?

- I don't know you tell me! Fred answered with a silly grin on his face.

-No, you tell me now Fred Weasley! I know you have something! She bounced.

- And what is for me then? He asked.

- Okay I'll help you prank Filch!

- And I'll go get back your famous pen! She silently groaned.

- Deal! He spoke. Okay so if you go to the guy's bathrooms, next to the showers there is a wall and if you push the big rock at the end there's a passage that led directly in front of the staircase!

- Thank you! Mae kindly answered before running up.

- Wait a minute there, you'll need this! He gave her a old piece of parchment.

- What's this? She asked.

- It's a map that shows everyone on this castle.

- No way!

- Yes, I swear! You just have to say: « I solemnly swear that I am up to no good ».

As he said the spell, he pointed the paper with his wand, and everything appeared on the map. Mae immediately found Cedric; he was near to the Gryffindor common room.

- I know, he proudly answered, have fun luv. He said before going back to his dorm. »

She entered the boy's showers and felt a bit embarrassed, she quickly found the rock and pushed it. As soon as she got out of the passage, she looked at the map, and Cedric was just around the corner. She hid next to a wall thinking, the Hufflepuff Prefect could use a scare.
