The rest of the day you don't see Charles much. He's busy preparing for his qualifying session in his garage and you stay on Seb's side as you're ofcourse there to support your brother.

When the qualifying session is about to start, you wish Seb good luck and both cars drive out of the garage about two minutes after Q1 has started. You always get a little bit nervous when Sebastian drives out of the pitlane but it's not so bad on qualifying day. You know that tomorrow you'll be really nervous as the race comes with a lot more stress and danger.

You take a seat in front of the tv screen in the garage and intensely watch everything that's going on. Charles drives an okay first lap but it's not a great time. He does manage to grab P1 for now though. Seb is a little bit slower but it's still the beginning of the session so you know he has the opportunity to do another lap, hopefully a better one.

As other cars do their laps, you notice that most of them are quite a bit faster than Charles. It was bound to happen as his lap time wasn't great.

He then suddenly locks up and you widen your eyes. Oh fuck! His tyres are damaged.

Dammit Charles. This isn't a good scenario.

He needs to box. His tyres are destroyed.

He needs to box.

Why is he not boxing?

Unfortunately you can't hear Charles' radio so you have no idea what's going on. He continues to drive but it seems useless with these tyres.

You turn your head and take a look at Charles' side of the garage and you see a lot of people running around stressfully.

What the hell is happening there?

You then see Charles driving into the pits but something seems to go wrong. His mechanics suddenly run out of the garage and you stand up to see what's happening. They start pushing Charles' ferrari back to the weighbridge which he apparently missed.

Shit. He can get a penalty for that.

You notice Charles' Ferrari being manually pushed back into the garage and his mechanics get the car ready for potentially another lap.

He's going to go out again isn't he? He might not make Q2 with this time.

You quickly go back to watch the screen again and are right on time to see that Sebastian has touched the barrier with one of his tyres.

For fuck's sake, what's going on today?

It luckily doesn't seem to be damaged too much.

You see car after car setting faster lap times than Charles and Seb. Seb is now in 17th place while Charles is in 13th. You stressfully look at the time and see that there's not many minutes left for them to improve. You turn around again to look at the other side of the garage and notice Charles' Ferrari still standing in its spot.

Are they not going out again? Are they taking the risk?

You turn your head to the screen again and anxiously tap your fingertips on your thigh as Sebastian starts his last lap. It needs to be good otherwise he's not even getting into Q2.

Charles is currently P13 but as Albon sets a faster time and Hulkenberg follows, he's quickly pushed to P15.

Oh shit.

This means that if Sebastian manages to do a good lap, Charles is pushed out of Q1 by his own teammate. It's a terrible scenario but you still pray that Sebastian takes it. He's your brother after all and you know how angry he will be if he loses against his less experienced and much younger teammate. It happened once before this season - in Bahrain when Charles took pole position. Sebastian certainly wasn't happy about that.
