   Damian

As Damian contemplated the many ways he could be killed as soon as he got back to Bruce, he happened to glance at the girl who was carefully strapped into the passenger seat next to him.

Blood was leaking off of her head, and her pure white wings had tainted a deep red. She almost looked peaceful as they rode back to the cave. He wondered if Tim would be able to mend her, or if he had any info on Dr. Keystone and his antics.

As Damian neared the gates of the Manor, he could see Grayson standing there, waiting for him. I'm dead. He thought. As he entered the gates, he pressed a button on the dash of the car, and the secret door opened to the cave. He drove the car down, and even before he could park the car, Grayson was on top of him. He tackled Damian to the ground and pinned his arm behind his back.

Grayson snarled, "One sentence. That's all you get before this arm breaks. You better have a good reason."

Damian grimaced as Grayson pulled his arm farther. "I don't need to," he panted, "just look in the damn car."

Grayson lifted his head to where the girl sat strapped in the car. His eyes widened.

"What the hell did you do now Damian?" He breathed.

Damian said, "That's a question for later. She needs stitches on her back and fluids."

"I'll get Tim. He'll know what to do."

Grayson looked back at him, and he could have sworn he saw a glimmer of worry in his eyes. But that wasn't strange for him. But what was strange, is that he didn't think it was meant for him.
