"OMG, did you see that?" Avery said.

"See what?" I replied.

"He called you princess," anna said.

Of course, all good things must come to an end. I got to run away from him only to talk about him with my friends. "Ugh of course you guys have to speak of him again. I already don't like him. Who does he think he is calling me princess? You guys should know how much I hate that," I said as we were walking to our next class, biology.

Anna just sighed in defeat and we walked the hallways in silence stopping at our lockers on the way. Anna's locker was beside mine while Avery's locker was opposite the hall.

The rest of the period was basically a blur as I absent-mindedly doodled in my notebook while Avery and Anna talked to each other, trying not to sleep. I didn't like biology, but the teacher was cool. He would just play slideshows during the entire class. Our next period was lunch, and even though I was not hungry, Avery forced me to eat every single day. I didn't get hungry very often. When I was young, for some reason, I just stopped telling people when I was hungry and ended up losing a lot of weight.

I settled on a slice of pizza and we made our way to our lunch table, it was at one corner of the cafeteria. I looked at both my friends bickering whether tomato was a fruit or a vegetable. Idiots, but I was so happy that they were my friends. As you could already guess, I wasn't much of a talker either. I was always quiet, and my friends understood that.

My mind wondered back to Tyler. He was definitely hot. God, why does he have to be such a jerk then? No Bella, its easier for you to hate him if he's a jerk. I mean he did only make one comment to me but he didn't even know me. Aren't we supposed to be nice to people we just met? I was having a mental conflict with myself. Just then, my two friends stopped bickering and looked behind me. I turned around to see Tyler making his way to our table.

He sat beside me. "Hi princess, hi guys" he greeted. We were all shocked because let's be real, nobody ever sits with us. Who would want to sit with losers? I quickly recovered and glared at his nickname for me.

"Not to be rude or anything, but why are you here?" I asked him. I know I was being a bitch and I'm probably too quick to judge him, but I didn't care right now.

He just shrugged. "I didn't know anyone else and you're my friend." Wait were we friends with him? I was too tired to argue anyways. I just had to keep my guard up when he was there but its not like I'm not used to it. Its up most of the time!

"So, Ty, how are you liking your classes so far?" Avery asked, trying to make conversation to ease the awkwardness.

"Pretty good actually. I have football tryouts this evening and art class. Plus, princess here makes really good company" he said smirking while poking my cheek.

I slapped his hand away and scowled at him. Before I could reply anything back, a high-pitched voice said "Ty, why don't you come sit at my table?" Let me introduce you to the queen bee of Eastview High School, Britany Hayward. She had long, blonde hair that flowed perfectly to her back. She could be pretty if her face wasn't fully caked with make up and she wore decent clothing that actually covered her body. She and her group of posies has slept with every guy in the football team. She had a boyfriend, the quarterback, Alec Knight, and she was head cheerleader.

Cliché right?

"No, thanks," Tyler replied. Did I hear right or was my mind playing tricks on me?

Britany obviously didn't get the memo and leaned into him further saying "I'm giving you a chance to sit at the cool table."

"I know but no thanks. I would rather sit here."

Oh shit!! Nobody ever rejects Britany, but he did. Wow! Maybe I was too quick to judge. Or maybe, he was just doing this until he got his group of friends and then he would leave. I mean everyone does eventually right?

"Anyways, I'll be going now. Just come over if you change your mind and don't choose to hang with these losers," she said while batting her long fake eyelashes to him.

"You really can't take rejection, can you? Please leave before you lose more self-respect," Anna said. Britany just huffed in annoyance and started making her way to the "IT" table.

"Sorry about her, she's used to boys begging for her," Avery said, and Ty just waved it off. He must be used to have that kind of attention on him since he's so hot. I mean, I thought he was going to get up and leave but I was secretly happy he put her in her place.

Another thing you should know is that Britany has bullied me everyday since like 4th grade, so I'm used to her bitchiness. I was always thin, so I used to be called a lot of names. She also knew how much my dad meant to me, but she convinced everyone not to be friends with me because apparently sadness was contagious. Its fine! Not like I enjoy company anyways. ugh I'm such a loner.

If I end up living my life alone at forty with 7 cats, but I have my dream job, it isn't so bad right? I was lost in thought when the bell rang signaling my next period, art.

Hello again. If you're still reading, thank you so much. I'm still figuring out how to write a story as I'm not very descriptive in my writing. So if you're reading this, take the chance to do something you never thought you can. If you ever need support, hit me up!

My classes just started again and it's beyond exhausting. Online classes are seriously a struggle for me as I can't focus. I'm trying to write as much as I can but I don't have much inspiration. So please leave comments, and that way I can learn too.

BTW, Avery is the at the top of the chapter.

I love you all so much! Thank you for being here! Have a hug and a kiss. XOXO!!!
