Chapter 1

"Did you think just because spring break starts in a couple of hours you can just act out and not get in trouble for it?" Principle Higgins barked.

Yes.

I took a deep sigh and looked at him with a smug look on my face "well apparently so."

"Well apparently not." He fired back.

"Look, if you could just give me my detention slip, it would speed up this process a lot faster." I slouched in the uncomfortable chair.

"What strike is this? 4th? 5th?" He arched his brow.

"I don't know, I don't keep count. Isn't that what you're here for?"

Higgins looked at me with a deep scowl. I can feel the Hatred that man has for me. I can see the anger in his eyes. Can't say I blame him, I've been giving him crap since freshmen year... I'm a senior now.

With a deep sigh he picked up his phone and dialed the front desk. "Marry can you bring me Luke Hemmings file please."

I brought my lip ring in between my teeth. I'm starting to get a little nervous not going to lie. I know for a fact this is my 6th strike and I was a bit scared of my punishment this time.

The sound of heels entered the room as marry came into sight. Marry was about 35 or so, she had this weird thing for me, it was cute actually.

She looked at me and a grin spread across her face, causing little wrinkles to form in her cheeks.

My head rested in the palm of my hand as I looked back at her a side smile. She giggled while Handing Higgins the large file.

"Thank you marry." Higgins uncomfortably shooed her away.

"Uh right." She nervously giggled.

I decided to shoot her with a wink as she walked by me causing her to giggle and speed walk away.

I wouldn't bang marry but I found it quite amusing how she acts around me, and the effect I seem to have on her. Well her and basically the entire school's female population.

Right as Higgins picked up my file the school's fire alarm went off. Just on time.

"What?" He barked harshly standing up from his desk.

I smirked and stood up myself. Higgins rushed out his office, so much for students safety first.

I shrugged and quickly grabbed my file shoving it into my backpack and walking out of the school and into the parking lot where I found my mates.

"And he's alive." Calum smirked as I walked up to them.

"Not if he sees my file." I pushed my hand in my hair.

"Oh dude you're screwed." Michael laughed.

"That's why I took it." I shrugged as if it were no big deal while taking it out of my backpack and held it in the air proudly.

"Dude you're a fucking legend." Calum hollered.

"Thank you for pulling the fire alarm." I looked at Ashton knowing he had done it.

"I figured you needed a bit more time." He chuckled.

"Fuck, Higgins, hold onto it." I shoved it against Ashton's chest.

"Why is it so heavy?" Ashton questioned shoving it into his bag.

"Cause I'm terrible." I laughed just as Higgins grabbed me by my shirt and dragged me back into the building.

(Lydia's POV)
"I'm so excited." Molly giggled excitedly as we walked down the hall back to our class.

"Really? I couldn't tell." I smirked at her.

"Oh gross." My smile faded at the sight of a familiar blonde boy being dragged down the hall by principle Higgins.

"Halloweens over freak." He barked at me as he passed with Higgins hand securely in his shirt.

"Then why are you still wearing that ugly mask dick." I fired back.

"Meeh." He mocked me then smiled and winked at Molly, "hey Molly."

"Hi Luke." She giggled flirty-ly

After he was no where in sight i Turned around and looked at Molly disgust clear on my face.

"What? He's cute." She shrugged with a smile on her face.

"I don't know how you can like him, he's such a pig." I scoffed.

"Says the girl who use to like him." She giggled very pleased with her comeback.

"That was freshmen year Molly, people grow up. Besides I only liked him for a week so ha!" I mocked her as we continued down the hall.

"I have a feeling, spring break is going to be fun." She giggled locking her arm with mine.
